CONTENTS
1. 1982 Los Angeles Rams offensive playbook (under head coach Ray Malavasi and offensive assistant John Hadl. The Rams finished the strike-shortened 1982 season 2-7, missed the Super Bowl Tournament and Malavasi was fired after the season)
2. 1985 Los Angeles Rams offensive playbook (under head coach John Robinson. The Rams would finish the season 11-5 and NFC West champions; advancing to the NFC Championship Game only to lose to the Chicago Bears 24-0)
3. 1985 Los Angeles Rams defensive playbook (under head coach John Robinson)
4. 1999 St. Louis Rams offensive playbook (under head coach Dick Vermeil and new offensive coordinator Mike Martz. The Rams - whose explosive offensive attack would be immortalized as "The Greatest Show on Turf" - would (thanks to newly-acquired running back Marshall Faulk, rags-to-riches quarterback Kurt Warner and a receiving crew led by veteran Isaac Bruce and rookie Torry Holt) snap a decade-long playoff drought en route to clinching the NFC West with a 13-3 record; eventually winning it all following their win over the Tennessee Titans in Super Bowl XXXIV 23-16 - after which Dick Vermeil retired temporarily {he would resurface with the Kansas City Chiefs} and Martz was promoted to head coach)
5. 2001 St. Louis Rams offensive playbook (under head coach Mike Martz and offensive coordinator Bobby Jackson. The Rams rode the "Greatest Show on Turf" to a 14-2 record, NFC West championship and their second Super Bowl in 3 seasons. This time, however, the Rams would be upset in Super Bowl XXXVI by the New England Patriots {whose quarterback, Tom Brady, had risen from obscurity following longtime starter Drew Bledsoe going down with an injury early in the season} by a 20-17 margin)
