This interview was conducted with former Ocean City Mayor Roland "Fish" Powell about the National Flood Insurance Program. In the interview, he summarizes his time as mayor and some of the actions he and the city council enacted to further develop Ocean City in the 1980s and 90s. He speaks of the storm in 1962 that damaged sections of Ocean City and led to efforts to preserve the beaches and protect both residents and local environment. He also speaks about private enterprises in the area and their impacts as well.
