This hilariously campy 1960s educational film, SEE A JOB, subtitled WHAT'S A NICE GIRL LIKE YOU DOING WAY UP HERE WHEN THE GROUND'S WAY DOWN THERE, tells the story of Elaine Vaughn, an African-American Pan Am airline stewardess. With a cast of characters including a "swinger in seat 5B" (1:28 mark), this is one film not to be missed!
As the film states, Vaughn was a high school graduate who became one of Pan Am's elite stewardesses, flying the NY to Paris and NY to Rome routes. We wonder what became of her!
Includes footage in a 1960s airport at the 4:45 mark, great in-flight service with champagne at the 9:45 mark, and a jazzy score throughout.
This film is part of the Periscope Film LLC archive, one of the largest historic military, transportation, and aviation stock footage collections in the USA. Entirely film backed, this material is available for licensing in 24p HD and 2k. For more information visit http://www.PeriscopeFilm.com

Yes It WAS a Wonderful World
Did you see that food? That was coach. Those drinks were gratis and those meals were part of the cost of the flight. Today a stale bag of pretzels - if that.
For you poor things that were "born too late" just look forward to flights where everybody will be required to board only in underwear and socks. That day is coming soon. Tsk, tsk.
A look into the past when a high school diploma and a 5 week course got you a good paying job, rubbing elbows with pilots that made top 5% incomes, were often single, and were utter hunks!
