"Word Processing Made Easy" is an early attempt at helping the non-computer scientists at the University of California Santa Cruz use the vi text-editing program and nroff formatting program for word processing on a time-sharing Unix system. This 1982 Lick Observatory Technical Report is a precursor to "Unix for Luddites," the photocopied Scott Brookie book that introduced many at UCSC to Unix for academic work beyond computer science.
