If you want to hack your high score using REGEDIT.EXE
This is a classic win98 game included with the OS installation by default.
If you want to hack your high score using REGEDIT.EXE
The highscore has a security checksum its basically the CHAR with (INT) cast so the numerical value is sum of characters.
You use regedit then search for Space Cadet and the highscore is stored as a registry file.
