These documents were created and used during phases 1 and 2 of the process to create the DWeb Principles. The first draft of the Principles was initially formulated by Mai Ishikawa Sutton and John Conor Ryan, beginning March 2020. The text was shared as a rough document at the July 2020 DWeb Meetup, for the DWeb community to discuss and consider, comment and edit. A Google Form was used to collect feedback from people and gather their ideas on the DWeb Principles.

These documents contain the outcomes of 4 focus group sessions carried out in the third phase of the DWeb Principles creation process. Each focus group contributed with content suggestions that were incorporated into subsequent drafts of the Principles.
