here at this rehearsal the band played thru several songs that their friend jo was going to add flute to for their debut album that was going to be completed the following week.This version of stage fave szabo gives jo a chance to familiarize herself with the tune...its a shame her flute is so muted by the p.a. but she was turned up for songs played later! check out 'sunny day song/black cypress' for proof...hope you enjoy this version and yes! we did complete the album the following week......

here the band add percussion to a brand new unheard song written in the studio 25th july 12..the band are joined by their good friend jo who added flute to three tracks on this visit to 'big noise studio' where the band finally finished off their debut album!..here though is a tune only played twice(badly...) at a rehearsal one week ago and with this opportunity to have jo with them they very quickly completely re-arranged the tune and cut this as a one -off demo....but it turned out so well...

the bands debut album is almost ready and here they have their friend jo rehearsing with the band at their headquarters 'montsale studios' inreadiness for laying down some flute on a couple of tracks that the band have always had plans for! she here joins the band for a blast thru their show closer 'black cypress' and blowing up a storm....this is up close and personnel with everyone giving their all....she will be joining the band on a few select shows around the u.k this summer too!

the band played its biggest festival in july 2011 'kozmick kens psychedelic dream festival' in devon...here they debuted several brand new songs to a new audience that was there to hear predominantly space-rock so were happy that their music went down so well and in doing so were invited back to play 2012!here the band play an early version of 'black cypress' that was taken straight off of the mixing desk and so isn't mixed.....please enjoy this in the spirit in which it was made!....and kozmik...

here the band play a small club with a brand new line-up in reading...with robert & christian in the band a whole new set-list was put together and its here that roberts tune 'a cosmic journey into the universe' is played live for the first time...the band wanted to road test the set-list before playing bigger shows and the atmosphere at this intimate club was perfect for just that!i also must apologize for the camera going in & out of focus but the low light conditions really played...

this is a track the band recorded for a proposed e.p.(their 4th...) on 9th october 09 at their regular rehearsal studio 'montsale' with studio boss nick player...several tracks were recorded that day and remain unreleased....this composition by guitarist philip is a slice of space-rock that was only played live once at 'the castlemayne pub' january 10....the line-up was only together around 10 months but recorded extensively...and like all recordings is live(no over dubs!)...the line up was :...

here the band tear thru their show opener 'inside my head'...heavy as hell and very fast this always confuses people at live gigs who haven't seen the band before as all they see is two massive stacks of amps and the tabla down front!they dont quite know what to expect but this salvo of sound soon dispels any questions they have!...conner uses 2x4x12 trace-elliot cabinets with a 100w line-six tube amp and a line-six foot pod/andrew uses 2x4x12 marshall cabinets and a 200w line-six head amp/the...

this is hoffmans bicycle in rehearsal today 30/12/11 at their regular studio 'montsale'...the two guitarists connor and andrew are only home for 3 weeks as they have to return to university early...the band haven't played together since late august because of that, so the group had this rehearsal booked to play thru some tunes...here is a brand new track only played live this year at a 3 day festival in devon...on play back we noticed the tabla aren't loud enough because of the high volume...

going thru our archives i found several tapes that had been forgotten about for several years....graham a founding member had left the band but continued to be friends with all and with an upcoming gig at the 'sunrooms' southend -on-sea a support band was needed so david & robert decided to join forces with graham and form for this one off support slot a side project which they called " the incense factory"....they would mix old & new hoffmans tunes and rework them...

here the band are rehearsing 'moonstone mantra' but playing around with the structure...robert starts off finger picking the opening parts to 'a cosmic journey.....' then mutating it into 'moonstone mantra'...this take is very spacy with lots of nice psych elements....recorded in the summer of 2008 at their main rehearsal hall....

we have had lots of requests for early stuff by the band and here is an early tape hiss heavy demo that came out on the group's first e.p. now long sold out! it is the second song we ever recorded,this is from may 2005 a month after forming....tentative steps for sure but already the combination of twin lead guitars and tabla are stabilizing...plus a rare vocal outing from christian who also wrote the song.the group are : david.....tabla. graham....guitar/sonics. christian.guitar/vocals.

this was recorded by a very short lived version of the band that lasted barely 3 weeks.By september of 2005 christian had left the band and andrew a friend of graham's had joined and brought along this beautiful laid back piece of hazy dream like psych one warm lazy october afternoon.Graham here plays shimmering glass like lead over andrews solid backing while david plays simple tabla patterns to hold it all together....
