Mary Evelyn Durkee, class photo from Peabody High School for the year of 1915. Born Jan. 2, 1897, daughter of Elmer E. and Gertrude (Wylie) Durkee. Elmer was a farmer, and by the time of Mary's graduation, was listed as a poulterer at the corner of Goodale and Lowell.

Hazel Elizabeth Durkee, class photo from Peabody High School for the year of 1915. Born Dec. 3, 1897, daughter of Edwin A. and Norah (Kennedy) Durkee. He was a farmer at her birth but by the time of her graduation he had a store located at his home--Durkee Brothers--at the corner of Goodale and Lowell.  Hazel married Valentine Bagley Evans in Woburn on June 25, 1921. Evans worked as a picture framer in Woburn where they made their home.

Frances Herrick Tenney of Peabody. Here is her high school class of 1915 photo. Born Dec. 29, 1896, daughter of George Herbert (1862-1896) and Florence Luella (Marsh) Tenney. Her father was a farmer but he died May 11, 1896, months before her birth. Her mother gave Frances up to be raised by George's brother, Willard Tenney.
