With this work, Joel Andreas has done something incredible, which raises the bar for the comic book format of serious topics. By taking historical photos, quotes, and statistics from the department of war/defense itself, he's fashioned an entertaining, humorous story which explains the complexity of the US military industrial machine and its relentless growth, in terms that children can understand, but that will captivate many adults as well.
