On May 17th, 2014, the Greater West Bloomfield Historical Society held their annual tour of Apple Island. For the third weekend in May of every year, the island is made available to the public. People all ages can pay to take a shuttle and then boat over to Apple Island where they will receive a tour. The tour is abundant with beautiful nature and Native Americans who gladly share stories with the touring groups. Watch as Civic Center TV explores the rich history of this unique island!
