The Summer 1981 issue of Bricks 'n Pieces,
a British magazine for LEGO Club members. It is the eighth issue overall, and the first one to be labeled a magazine rather than a newsletter, as it saw an expansion from four pages to eight. This issue's main feature focuses on the then-upcoming third Annual Club Rally Day, to be held in Leeds on August 9th of that year. The issue also advertises new LEGO railways sets, discusses news and history related to LEGO, and shows off LEGO models submitted by readers. This issue also introduces the David Lyall Spot, a dedicated section for Lyall's LEGO models.
