Lynne is the volunteer chairperson of the City's Schools Disaster Preparedness Committee. Along with her preparedness activities, she works as a music teacher for Cupertino Union School District while also being involved with her church and coordinating the school activities for her children. She is also a graduate of the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) and an active member of the Cupertino Amateur Radio Emergency Service (CARES).
