welcome to the independent living for them. thank you all for coming out tonight to hear miranda discuss "laptop from hell" herb book on drugs money and power. or maybe it's depravity, corruption and treason. [laughter] we decided to have this event excess for a book that delves into some pretty critical information about who owns the biden family we thought it was not getting the coverage it deserves. fox has given it a lot of plainsville of other conservative elements that most of them are silent in the mainstream media is more silent too. last week with regard to her own spying scandal hillary clinton explains the theory behind this behavior. if no one touches the story except fox in the new york post it's possible to claim the story

is false. fox knowsew its viewers are enoh to believe it. some viewers are. iy wouldn't say it's fox. tonight's event is beingg recorded by c-span and that slightly undermines our complained about the mainstream media who is ignored this critical book that we will take it. therefore introduce s our speaks i want to note independent women's forum is almost 30 years old. we started as a group of women coming out of the first biden administration who are unhappy with the way conservative women were being portrayed in the media. they were unhappy with the way her viewpoints and issues were covered. tell hit home during the clarence thomas h report showdon and early iteration of beliefs of women. there was only eagle forum of

phyllis schlafly which is single-handedly defeated the equalea rights amendment but thy didn't seem so possessive in media battles in the 90s. on any tv report did have liberal women in power suits making their point and then a very slightly fussy woman in a dress would make the conservative case and it would be on relatable. i intended to be an organization that reflected the real lives of the concerns of today's women. we believe all issues are women's issues from the economy to childcare policies to the regulatory revolution. if it matters where on it prevented the leadership of carrie lukas iws is growing like wildfire. past decade we have a had the political action arm and just this year the independent women's network for national cyber networking operation

grassroots groups across the country and we now have a legal center first-rate conservative female attorneys and as soon as its better funded it while treating people just like the left. [laughter] she has accomplished all this while raising five lovely children all of whom have excellent manners. the stage is making the case against the fairfax county mask policies. [applause] we are thrilled to have "new york post" columnist miranda divine here tonight. when hunter biden's laptop emerged i took a look at it and the various videos i couldn't watch. so i cannot imagine recording and explaining whatea was on the laptops.

as the hillary accolades like to say nevertheless she persisted. [laughter] and kudos to the new york post for backing this important work which the rival media claim was russian propaganda. finally it is all very well. are rich and decadent country finds foreign labor. it's a different thing altogether when american journalists simply will not do the job of reporting so we need to import australian columnist [laughter] hunter's laptop appeared in public and no one had to dig it up. when it appeared we should have seen the watergate thrown between the reporters competing to break the news that the news was devastating about the democratic party's candidate so no one said a word. we are doubly grateful to

ms. devine for her bravery and your hard work. at this point in her career she is the queen off all tabloids. she is dominated coverage here and previously in australia and england. we are grateful she went through the records of the president's son. hunter biden is one sick puppy and history will not look kindly on the way he and his father sold our nation. thanks to miranda we will have a record. without further ado miranda divine and carrie lukas. [applause] >> lisa thank you so much for that introduction and thanks everybodyve for being here. we even had them any in-person event in a while like this. i'm so thrilledd that so many folks came out and getting ready to bird zoom with normal life. anything but normal with the news coming out of ukraine and i

thought it was perfect timing with all the news about what's going on. we need to have this conversation because so much of it is about foreign affairs and how america has been mishandling some of ourr responsibilities. when i started reading your book i enjoyed it so much. it was almost overwhelming with an avalanche of scandals were the of its own congressional investigation so i was hoping you would set the stage a little bit of what it was like to be on the receiving end of this and what you had to go through to untangle all this information to reveal this laptop which fell into your hands. >> thank you carrie. untangling is the perfect word because this laptop is a complete mess like hunter biden's personal life. it's full of explicit with

prostitutes and women he was having relationships with than anyone else that he was obsessed with every aspect of his body and his personal life. he videotaped everything. we have to wade through that layer and i think that garnered publicity for the nature of it. imagine one story about one photograph where he balanced the m&ms on his and took photographs ofw it. that got much more coverage than other probably more important things. i tried to balance the book. so that gives you a of the material on the laptop and far more important than that is the material that takes a while to dig down and find and the e-mails that in the messages and the trail of breadcrumbs that

lead you to an absolutely gob smacking shocking revelation that the laptop is not enough. it is one piece. it is addressed by materials from bobulinski who is one of hunter biden's business partners a real american patriot veteran and hero. he came forward before the election saying how "the new york post" story that we covered three weeks before the election was being buried. he wanted to corroborate it and he handed over the material he had on his devices to the fbi. that material was corroborated what was on the laptop but also for instance talked about were hunter and his partners were a

lot more free and easy and the other piece of the jigsaw puzzle is excellent work done by two republican finishers who weren't abused as kremlin operatives and that's the democrats go to as they pretend that they are part of the russian propaganda with chuck redwing ron johnson and they conduct a very exhaustive investigation into one aspect of the o corruption to do with ukraine and his energy company who is paying hunter biden $83,000 a pop. >> i think there are so many different stories of different corruptions and washing money and influence selling. if you are reaching a new audience and i'm excited that you have covering this to give one example and this

encapsulates the corruption and whynd americans should be appald at the idea of what was going on in terms of this money was coming in that was obviously corruption and unethical. >> the one moment thatt had me mreeling from the laptop and having to go out for a walk and just shaking my head after seeing this and it was only possible through bobulinski and mixing goes up. that was the biggest deal that hunter biden had done so far with the chinese. they were joint venture partners with the company in china called cfc but it wasn't johnson, it was the capitol is arm of president xi initiative which of course is china's push to the rest of the world and the

biggest deal that cfc was going to do was with russia and vladimir putin had been pushed into a corner by european sanctions on russia after mh-17 the malaysian air flight that crashed in ukraine. he then was forced into the arms of president xi who is an expansionn and president xi decided he t was going to buy a big chunk of the russian state-owned energy company. this was a marriage of china and russia disasters for america but it didn't happen because president trump came into office and he assigned jeff sessions attorney general to disrupt the

business invasion of america. very quickly hunter's business partner was arrested at jfk and the boss of the cfc was interviewed in china and that deal, for china to buy it and china had to pay russia have a million dollars in compensation. that was his son of joe biden. he couldn't tie his shoelaces and couldn't conduct his personal life than in w a normal fashion. he was out of it most the time and he had a prostitute addiction. and this guy and his bumbling uncle jim joe biden's r younger brother are right in the heart

of the biggest deal the geopolitical landmine that was going to be so detrimental said to american security they were joined venture partners and would benefit and are wrestling on top of that joe biden was the innocent partner. joe biden when he finished being vice president hunter biden had made up a name in a building called i think the a swedish house. on the door was going to be joe biden, hunter biden cfc america. theri initiative, the american version and that was job biden's former -- it just fell apart because of donald trump.

now are back at square one again. it gets interestingus because obviously i was thinking how adjusting it is your rarity who you have is your source is the president's son. you have them in his own words and all the correspondence everyone who's e-mailing him with his amazing amount of access. people usually try to keep the media at a imparted part of this is the story of hunter biden. i would love you to talk a little bit about joe biden's roll it mess because there was, i found it interesting the exchanges they had on the personal level and how completelysa it is for the president to have said and you know about this because so many times he was there with his son. >> you are spot on. the reason for the book and the reason it's important is not hunter biden this

supposedly perform drug addict. people often attacked me and say why are you delving in to bring his privacy and so on comment it's not about hunter biden it's about joe biden. joe biden is at the top of the family business. he is the product theyli are selling and he isly intimately involved. he is directing it. he is introducing hunter to the important people at the top of the russian or chinese or ukrainian or that kazakhstan a hierarchy to give him the money because in china for instance when hunter biden got off the air force one and 2015 to the chinese eyes it was obvious what was happening. in these countries you don't

give the money to the top official come you give it to their children or their families. in china they are called princelings. that chirp with the joe biden there was nothing compute -- peculiar about his middle-aged son being introduced to the higher-ups and for joe biden to be shaking theew hand of the new business partner who tipped them into the summer must deal this firm that he was given a 10% stake u in and ended up in $2192.5 million. the other thing is from the laptop we know job biden financiallyy invested in it mostly from hunter biden's business deals. we don't have a lot but there is a little bit and it's very and

that is that there were shared bank accounts and shared debit cards and there was also some evidence that hunter biden was paying the household bills for joe biden. there was a monthly at&t phone bill just a couple hundred dollars. there's also evidence of bills for maintenance on his mansion in delaware for the retaining wall being fixed and paintings, air-conditioning being replaced in a cottage on the ground. it only came to light because the biden's are notorious around delaware for not paying their bills because to the local tradesmen it was such an honor to work for joe w biden. you wouldn't let money get in the way. some of these tradespeople were pressing to get their billsls

paid. there were three or $4000 each and that's a lot to a small business. he came to the surface that's how we arrived at the laptop. i'm sure there's a lot of o othr money that the fbi and u.s. attorney in delaware would have access to. chad redly mark johnson had some access to these reports and now they are subpoenaing people in the grand jury in delaware. if someone wants to pull those threads there's so much to discover about the president and his family. >> we have found the wheels of justice turn very slowly especially when there is a democratic politician under investigation. i wondered, i just saw jonathan ghirelli had a piece yesterday

or the day before on the investigation that's in force andde collecting testimony in delaware. it seems like there's so much that is obviously will and i wondered if you could speak on what the situation is in terms of those investigations are with the potential is and if there will and if there will be justice or any consequences for any of this? >> there have been few leaks from its investigation into hunter biden's business affairs and there's another one going on. tax evasion we know they are looking at that because hunter biden told us himself after the election but also supposedly they are looking at money laundering and some sort of foreign agentt registration stuff. if they want to there are

multiple crimes you can find on the laptop. what we know so far is in may of 2019 which was a few weeks after joe biden announced his candidacy for president the u.s. attorney in delaware subpoenaed jpmorgan chase bank for bank transactionsg on jim biden and two of his business partners kevin arch or and eric -- specifically to do with the bank of china. a lot of that chinese money sloshed through tens of billions ofon dollars so they are getting that now. one of the names on the suspicious activity reports from jpmorgan chase i'm seeing is a woman named zoe kirsten and she was an ex-girlfriend that a

woman who a long time with hunter in hollywood when he went on one oflo his months long -- after he got a big payout from china. she was there and she had a lot of photographs and videos. they had us he had with a lot of women are rocky relationship. a she had the suspicious activity or work because lot of money had gone into her bank account and she testified before the grand jury and apparently talked about his wild spending sprees. 2018 in particular he was staying at the château and his drug addiction was incredible -- and he is drug dealers parading through hotel rooms who were stealing everything in sight. he was cooking and he kept

having his laptops and phones wallets stolen. expensive several months. >> that is kind of, early in the book you talk about how he loses an 8000-dollar jacket and is really mad about it and trying to track down this jacket. there's a tremendous lack of responsibility in particular and i'm sure a lot of folks here in knowing this idea of not being somebody you should blackmail. and you heard this with president trump intr the hole russian narrative being blackmailed for something he did and having read your book and being aware of what's out there and knowing all the other things that are sloshing around o out there is there a thought that he

might be compromised by the other information that's out there? >> it's particularly salient today when russia is invading ukraine and in americans are concerned about being pulled deeper into european war. we have a president whose family has been paid money from russian oligarchs of the righthander vladimir putin and not just money. one point was three-point -- of one of hunter's business partners and the money that he's getting from ukraine and russia oligarchs and charge of that company burisma. he was the former energy of the russia alliant government who is paying hunter biden this payment

and joe biden was warned about that several times by the mid-level state department officials and ignored that. one of them came into his office. there haser just been no accountability here and there are so many people who know so much and at the very least i think the american people should know as much about joe biden and his family's business dealings in ukraine and russia and china as do vladimir putin and president xi and the reason they don't know is because the american media, the establishment, the prestige media, the nerc times, the "washington post" b they blocked it and you had people like john

brennan and other former security and intelligence operatives who then gave the fig leaf to joe biden that the laptop was russian information. the american people were kept in the dark before e the election d they were not able to --. >> we have a great audience who are going to have a lot of questions and to forget that first question kid up i want to talk about a little bit more about that because as much scandal as there ishe on the laptop and in the book about the biden's i feel like a the scandal with the media is almost morede alarming and it's not jut one family in this uppercrust, this is kind of at the heart of what journalism is and isn't and it's amazing to think of the consequences and you talk about that in your book, that this really was an attempt to subvert the election outcome.

you wonder who is pulling the strings as in those companies so it i wonder if you have any perspective from "the new york post" and others you have interacted with if they were part of the media blackout to try to keep the silence on this information that you have brought to light. >> i think trump just changed everything. journalists just decided to try every ancient aspect of journalistic efforts because of the means justify the end they had to get rid of donald trump. it could haveou been the incarne and they wanted to make sure they did whatever they could. i wasn't surprised by the media because there was competition and ignoring it wasn't instinct.

thewa but what surprised me was facebook and twitter at displaying their power. "the new york post" is the fourth-largest newspaper in the country and the oldest newspaper in the country and they took it uponr themselves a couple of hours after those articles were published to censor it and lock "the new york post" account until two days before the election. a little while after that they give a platform to this sitting president united states and even it aes manual micron was horrifd by that read these are oligopolies who are more powerful than the leader of the free world. that's what they are and the

thing to me was facebook and twitter did that on scariest pretext twisted that we violated their hacking material policy and they admitted it afterwards. they said it was mistake and facebook did a fact check. they never did a fact shaq and i know they didn't because the way you will fact check was his e-mail of the story you would look at the other recipients of the e-mail. i've talked to other people made never been contacted by facebook so was just aar lie and all done for partisan purposes to make sure donald trump didn't win the election. that's terrifying and we know it made a material difference to the outcome of the election. there was a poll done by the

media research that found about half of biden voters had no idea about this scandal or the laptop or anything. and if they had known it would have changed their vote. this was an election divided by a handful of states so that could have made a difference. >> i want to get to some audience members. does somebody have a question? raise your hand and we can bring in the microphone. >> eye. congratulations on your book. it's really a feed of journalism and while dumping the fbi had the laptop first and are they still lookingth at it and did something, but that think they held onto it for so long without coming to the public with any of the materials on it?

>> there are two answers. there may be an incompetent or they were. they had it for a long time and let's hope what the u.s. attorney in delaware is doing is based on the material on the laptop and i'm still willing to have faith in our justice system toto do the right thing and maye what we are seeing with the germ report things are happening and what we can expect is the truth is displayed and unfortunately the media is -- on his part of the bargain. let's hope ultimately people are held accountable and if republicans win back the house and the senate some of them have

said they were -- they will have subpoena power for people like hunter biden and many others. thisis influence peddling operation. the biden's aren't the only people that started this. joe biden is the master of it. he's been doing it for decades in delaware but there are people on both sides who have profited from selling their influence in washington is a very town dare i say and i'm not sure if people have come to grips with that. >> more questions from the audience? >> miranda thank you for being here tonight that i read your book and it's wonderful. you are really good writer.

i'm a slow reader and itli tooke only two hours. so thank you. disturbing in so many counts but the thing i thought was interesting in the book was about his -- he because he was ahead heavy drug user and when you use drugsec like that at dos affect the teeth. could you comment on that? >> it was one of the most interesting photos and a karimi with the exact number i i think he it was $18,000 that he at the dentist called smiles on 57th street in midtown new york and the before and after photos. there's a photo of him smiling with these yellow teeth and afterwards if you notice he's always flashing his pearly just like joe biden. joe biden had his teeth fixed

and he had hair plugs in the botox so hunters learned from his dad that teeth are extremely important. [laughter] >> just a little personal note if anyone wants to have their hair done on wisconsin avenue her son and his brother were hairdressers for jill but she doesn't pay them. she pays them, she doesn't tip and her son has decided he will no longer go to the house because they are so difficult. on wisconsin avenue he hates the biden said he will tell you all about it while you're having your hair done. my question is about the new mrs. hunter biden a south african young -- how that

relationship is proceeding and i'm curious about the baby mama. she's she has been testifying, right? >> she was a former called london roberts who was working at an establishment not far from here, gentlemen's club, yes. and he was nothing but a gentleman when he was there. london roberts anyway had hunter's fourth child and hunter denies that it was his child. in his memoir beautiful things he claims that he can't even remember. he can never remember meeting her and that's not true because the laptop shows he knew her very well for a very long time.

he used to smuggle her into his office building at swedish house through the back fire door and when he was challenged by the building managers because there were two consulates in the building concerned about security issues he writes this 1000 word anthem and thought he was very clever and said this woman london roberts was a basketball coach to his daughter andd two sasha obama who was his daughter's friends of dropping the obama name. he knewl, her extremely well and she was on the payroll at one point. she had the baby and she had to sue him for paternity. the dna proved it was his child. on in the book on the jacket he talks about being the father and

he mentions the fourthon child. she did appear the grand jury last tuesday and testified for several hours. and hunter has been a little bit silent lately. i don't know if you've noticed that he was at these house a lot and he's not -- in the early months that his 2-year-old little s boy -- which you can se walking back from reno and his office. we know that hunter is basically chose, his number one or are closest and most trusted adviser. hunter biden is very intelligent

i didn't believe this. i was told this by one of hunter's many -- and when i really read his e-mails, he is quite a good writer and he's engrossed and very intelligent. he has always wanted to be an artist or an author and he is both of those now but he also has political ambitions. and he told his first wife kathleen who i think was a very nice person and sadly misled that after the funeral of his brother when he had given a eulogy he said to her on the way back the funeral everyone was saying you should go into politics. she looked at him and said are you kidding? just being thrown out of the navy fore cocaine use, anyway e

writes about that impede doleful -- beautiful things that she didn't understand him. he's concerned at the moment because the grand jury seems to be accelerating and starting to bring people in and ask questions. the other problem is best friend and business devon archer who has been a colleague is going to be sentenced on monday. i think i've mentioned it in the southern district of new york for this serious criminal fraud of a divorced tribe in india. one of hisda codependent was 12- jailed for 12 years and the other for 30 months.

his lawyers have said that's too much hardship for him. we will see on monday. judge ronnie abrams who is in theoi obama appointee and the we of one of the mueller investigators, she is being very kind to kevin archer. she overturned the original conviction. it was reinstated and he went to the supreme court and lost so now he's back before her and she allowed him when he was out on bail to travel to 24 different countries. he went to turkey and china and kazakhstan and ukraine and russia, the very places that hea and hunter had been doing. i can't remember the name exact weight.

melissa colin he was introduced to her by somebody he met around the pool and they fell madly in love thatt night. [laughter] they were married within weeks. she is south african. i think she's quite sensible. she did things like take away his phones and his devices and clean him up. ifcl we believe it he has cleand up thanks to her and she is now the mother of his cute little 2-year-old boy. let's hope he is clean. i think he will be having some sleepless nights. we have time for one last question.

>> after the laptop came out there were, i've seen some video of i believe friends showing him torturing girls from china, i don't know. did they confirm it? >> those videos are seen and heard and they do not exist on the laptop. i believe that there has been doctoredho images in photoshop images and i believe and i don't know why. some of them have appeared on chinese sites. whether it's someone deliberately trying to muddy the waters to discredit the laptop or its -- i don't know. all i know is it doesn't exist

and the problem with concentrating on this is that if there was and if he was a pedophile that was the crime of all. everything else on the laptop would pale in significance. there is no evidence ofn it and in fact i have seen much more of hunter biden's ex-wife than i would like to have seen. everything i have seen is that he is a heterosexual who likes the women in the prostitutes in their 20s and there is no evidence that he has any to kill your preferences. >> maybe that's an appropriate place to end.
