haley joined u.s. senate candidate herschel walker for a campaign event. the former player is challenging rafael warnock, it's considered a tossup according to the cook political report. hey! is everybody ready to get this party started? let's give it up for our attorney general chris carr. my name is rick, for those of you that don't know me, it is an honor to have you here today, what an amazing day, the rain has held off just for this event to make it happen. on behalf of the 150,000

americans who call georgia home we thank you and thank the republican party. we thank herschel. we thank the gop. de kalb gop, making this event possible. the republican party loves the indian-american community and the indian-american community loves the republican party. [applause] >> we have a lot of folks that are here today that need to be recognized. forgive me if i forget anybody, but there are some key people that i want you to know are here, are in support. chris carr, you heard from him earlier, attorney general. bruce thompson, who is a candidate for labor commissioner. dr. rich mccormick, candidate for u.s. congress. a candidate for u.s. congress from the seventh district.

state house candidates, jalen lowery. matt reeves, johnnie kris, miranda reddy, ray martinez, and scott hilton. we've also got a state senate candidate and that's shaun still. please give it up for shaun still. folks, there are some folks that i need to recognize. those people who are the backbone for this event. they are the ones who work tirelessly to make this event and all republican events possible. these are guys that are behind the scenes, but they're the guys who make things happen and i want to recognize just a couple of them here today. i want to recognize--

come to the front and say hello and one from the indian-american community. now, folks, you're not really here to hear me. you are here to hear from nikki haley. it is my honor, my privilege to bring to you our very own indian-american rock star. please give it up for the amazing nikki haley. [cheers and applause] ♪♪ >> hello, it's great to be back in my sister state of georgia. thank you for coming out for herschel walker today.

ap we are campaigning all over the country and we just left pennsylvania helping dr. oz, we're here for herschel and doing something for brian kemp and as we go across the country, everybody is realizing they don't have the luxury of politics because things are tough right now. they go to the gas station and it costs more and that's how they get to work. they go to the grocery store and it's more expensive and that's how they feed their families. we're seeing that utility prices are going up, one out of every six americans can't pay their utility bills. we're looking at the fact that america is $30 trillion in debt. we're having to borrow money just to make our interest payments. and what's happening in washington? washington continues to spend. their answer to inflation is to raise your taxes and they continue to do it without understanding any sack faces
9:44 am
sacrifices. do you know what they spent that rafael warlock. >> and over 2 million for trails, trying to get the world cup. 6 1/2 million for golf courses in colorado. one billion to federal inmates. 20 billion dollars went to illegal immigrants. and if it wasn't so sad, $463,000 went to pigeons learning how to play slot machines. rafael warnock supported that. and they're taking from those who didn't go to college and
9:45 am
you have to pay for those who did go to college. and they're for those with electric vehicles for $7500 for people who can't afford them and rafael warnock-- we love playing football and love playing your georgia team. they just now hired enough irs agents that would fill that, 87,000 irs agents? think about that. they're coming after you to pay for the tax hikes that they just passed. rafael warnock did that. then you go and you look at crime. i don't need to tell you about crime in atlanta and you're seeing that all over the country. you've got people like rafael warnock, glorifying inmates and
9:46 am
felons. and we're seeing the highest crime we've seen in decades. something's got to give and you look at the border, and i see many indian-american people who are know and love and i'm so glad you game. i take-- my husband and i take care of my parents, they are now 85 and 89, they live with us. they came here from india, they came here legally. they put in the time and the price like all of the these people did. my mom, every night at dinner, is so offended at the illegal immigration that continues to cross these borders because they knew what it was like to do it the right way. they don't want to see someone give it a pass and you look at legal immigrants, they're more patriotics than any of the liberals these days because they love america. and they came here willing to work for what they need.
9:47 am
but you look at rafael warnock, he believes in sanctuary cities, he believes in amnesty, believes in getting rid of the rule of law. we can't keep having that. you know enough legal immigrants have crossed the border since biden has been in office that would create the seventh largest city in america? think about that. we already know 50 terrorists were caught. how many weren't caught. you look at education. everyone is saying our kids are having a hard time because of covid. we had a problem with education before covid. did you know pre-covid, 65% of fourth graders in this country were not proficient in reading? 66% of eighth graders weren't proficient in reading or math. now you go and you bring covid and think about a childlike in rural south carolina, they're on a screen they've never used before using a hot spot on a
9:48 am
school bus down the street. now let's assume that child is in third grade. what's he learning? fractions? reading? history? do you think the teachers unions are going to tell him to tell the parents to hold that child back? they're not. when we know if a child can't read by third grade, they're four times less likely to graduate from high school. we think we have labor problems now, wait until five years from now when we have a lot of kids that can't graduate. we're failing our kids, not because of covid, but because we've lost sight of what we need to make sure they can be successful. every generation wants their kids to be better than the one before it. we've started to go backwards on that. but what's happened? you've got rafael warnock who has supported mandates, who supported closing schools and doesn't want to go anywhere against the unions and actually support the teachers trying to do the good jobs out there.
9:49 am
that's the problems that we continue to see. and then we've got foreign policy sdas disasters. and we have got different threats around the world. let me tell you we would never have a war in ukraine if we would not have had that blunder in afghanistan. i'm the wife of a combat veteran, let me tell you the idea that we left bagram air force base in the middle of the night without telling our allies who stood shoulder to shoulder with us for decades because we asked them to be there, think about what it told our friends and think about our enemies. remember the food process pipeline hacked by russia. russia wasn't doing that to destabilize us, russia was
9:50 am
looking to see how we react. you know what we did? nothing. and now you've got biden falling all over himself to get back in the iran deal and rafael warnock supports that, and you know who the lead negotiator is? russia, of all the threats we have, biggest threat i see facing america is what's happening within. this national self-loathing. this idea that america's bad. this idea that america is racist, let me tell you, my parents came here from india with $8 in their pocket, the same story that so many of you have. they worked hard. they put in all of the effort so that their children could have a better life.
9:51 am
and their daughter became the first minority governor in america. [cheers and applause] america is not a racist country. america is a country where i saw and talked to the ambassadors at the u.n. and they love the fact that we have freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom to do and be anything we wanted to be without government getting in the way. you've got a distinct difference in herschel walker and rafael warnock, but i want to say first that especially to the indian-american community that came out, one, it warms my heart that you came. [cheers and applause] we've seen the indian community vote democrat for a long time. not because they're democrats. my parents voted democrat until reagan. you know what? because republicans never talked to them.
9:52 am
herschel walker wanted to talk to you. herschel walker said he wanted the indian-american community to know that he was going to fight for them, too. that's what this is about. and for all of you, to give you a little about the indian-american community, did you know the indian-american community is a minority that is the most educated in america. it's the minority that has the highest per income per capita in america. it's the minority that's the least dependent on government assistance. but the one i love the most, the indian-american minority is the minority that is the most philanthropic of any minority in the country. [applause] >> they believe in giving back. but now is the time everybody needs to step up because you can go the route of rafael warnock and you've had-- he's got a voting record now.

he's been for increasing taxes, he's been for regulating and mandating businesses. he's been from taking money from one group and giving it to another. he's been soft on crime. 's been taking government money and spending it like it's not taxpayers, but spending like money to be had. he started ear mark support again. if you're comfortable with that, vote for rafael warnock, but if you want something better, not only is herschel walker a great football player, wait until you see the moves he does in congress because he absolutely understands the value of a dollar because he had to work hard and earn it. he absolutely will not ever support a tax hike because he knows what it does to georgia families. he's going to take care of your kids and fight to make sure that parents can see what's happening in classrooms and not

have things done behind their back. he's going to support the fact that we shouldn't have biological males playing in girls sports. he's against critical race theory, where if you have a kindergartner, a five-year-old girl that walks into class if she's white they tell her she's bad. and if they're brown or black, that she's not good enough and a victim. he's going to push for what unites. he's got this tour because he's tired of the divisions we've seen and tired of government working against the people. so when i tell you right now we all need to get out and vote, we need to get everybody registered to vote. this is a dead heat. rafael warnock never knew this was going to happen. we could win this and all eyes are on georgia. so if you want to win this, if

leadership because we're on a unity tour because my opponent, senator rafael warnock, i remember hearing him say america need to apologize for its whiteness, and i'm like, that's not in the bible i've read because if you really look at the situation, our founding fathers already apologized for its whiteness because if you read the constitution, it talks about every man being treated fair, but what we've done, we've put the wrong person at the table to do the negotiation for you because reverend warnock has went to washington and got rich. he went to washington and forgot about the people that voted him in. so i'm here to let him know, it is time for him to go. and for herschel walker to come and represent the great people of georgia because i'm going to be the voice for all the people of georgia and not just one set of people because all of you
9:57 am
are my families. i don't care what color you are. all of you are my family and i was told to take care of my family so that's what i'm going to do. because as i decided to run, you can see i'm not a politician. i don't look like one, i'm not going to act like one because i'm a warrior for god. and what i see going on is not right in this country. inflation has gone off the roof, is it not? inflation is, oh, wow. and they don't want to talk about it. they don't want to talk about inflation. they don't want to talk about crime. they don't want to talk about this border, because they have nothing to say. and they've done it. there's a reason we're in this problem today. if you want that, vote for him again because you're going to get more of it because they've got no solution. all they want to do is spend money. when they have a problem they throw money at it. that isn't the way to solve the problem.
9:58 am
you need to get in there and get your hands dirty. they don't want to do that. they're good at calling names and calling you all names, good at calling the names i've been called all types of name, but they don't know herschel walker, do they? name calling don't bother me. what bother me the crime i see in atlanta. what bother me, when families can't afford food. what bothers me when the kids had to go back to school and family couldn't buy school supplies because of someone like reverend warnock in that senate seat and for the things he's been saying trying to separate my people. let me tell you what, you're my family, you're not going to get separated because i'm going to tell you something you may not know. 23 and me screwed us all up. it don't matter about your color, it matters the content of your character and he's in a church that a man spoke that and he's not doing it. why in the world does he need
9:59 am
to be in that seat right now and tell you something else, and i felt excited about this, i got excited because as i was getting on the bus and we're on the unity bus trying to bring people together because a house divided cannot stand. i don't think he read that either. that's in the bible. a house divided cannot stand so i want us to come together because america is the greatest place in the world to be. [cheers and applause] and we've got to come together and i just got a tweet from someone who said, because the media has never been my friend. can you believe that? they don't like herschel walker? and i talk about myself in third person and i know that. and i got a tweet's going to debate me october the 14th in savannah georgia, but still had one other thing he wanted to put in there. and if you all see him, tell
10:00 am
him to show up, and put his big man pants on and instead of on twitter. and i want the audiences to see the difference between he and i. i don't believe in more taxes, or men in women's sports. your daughter. we do not want that. ... t get pregnant. you need to know that. i will tell you this. i know what a woman is. we do not need to discuss that. what we need to discuss his get back to energy independence. what we ne >> what we need is to protect this border. it's okay to build a wall or a wall works. other countries have walls but their walls is to keep people in so people don't want to be there. so it's okay for us to have our wall.

we've got to have a leader in immigration. that's a problem but they ran away from it. it seems like all they're doing is wrecking things and leaving it. them to fixor something. that's reasonth we need people o new leadership. that's why i decided to run. i'm sick and tired of it. it is time for someone as my father said when i said no, i mean no. that's what we've got to do is get peopleha in washington when you say no, you may know. also he said if you don't like the rules underneath my roof, leave my home. because we are a country that has long order. we just had two police officers killed in cobb county and they don't want tong talk about it. my opponent had called them names, bullies and thugs.nd i'm waiting for him to apologize to them. recruitment is down. you all see that morale is down. my opponent also say you can't serve the military serve god at the same time. do he not know the reason where
10:02 am
the greatest country in the world and we got the greatest military in the world? we have to support our military. so maybe, maybe at a debate i can tell him that. if you decide to show up and quit running but he don't know i can him. because when i saw him on one commercial he was running the wrong way. and i'm like hey can you run the right way because you run backwards. you've been running this country backwards. it is time to write it the right way and do the right thing. i want to thank you, guys. thank you, guys for getting out here to vote. i want to say people always ask me what can i do? do you know what you can do? call ten of your friends to tell them to go out and vote and vote for herschel walker. tell them to call ten of their friends and to call their ten and there came because right now i tell you what is so funny they spent almost $50 million against me already, can you believe it?
10:03 am
$15 million. i told them did me the money i'll make myself look bad. they don't need to spend that money. the race is either tied or i'm still in the lead or he may be in the lead by one which means george peoples are talking thee ready for newor leadership in washington. they are ready for a change. i want to say ambassador haley saidra it, we are not a racist country. we are good people and the way we become better people by working together. we have to come together. we can't let our president divide us. the speech he made a couple weeks ago that was very mean. that was a terrible speech and i can't believe that anyone would even say that that was a powerful speech. that was a division. he divided people but i want to tell you right now, america, the united states of america, is the

greatest country in the world today. and it's time that we get leaders in washington that know that. so right now i want to declare something that i'm going to put in place and there will be a sound bite, it will be big. i think for people to run for office in this country today first got to love america. they got to g love america becae some of the people i see running don't seem to like the country. and then they got to love the constitution of the united states of americaf because what i've seen our police officers do it open for the good office. and ifef they don't hold true to that hold accountable, all men and women and service take an oath, i will defend this country for domestic with life get a general that today will be held accountable. when you go to office. elected to office your oath is to defend the constitution. so why's everybody want to change it?
