have more people in roles new jersey higher education that may have ever had the vast majority are from new jersey and something not going to college is in new jersey, is that there a lot of measures is leaving and the number one exporter college students in the country educating our students out and the problem is relatively expensive in-state tuition compared to other states so a lot of states in the country much as the neighbors alabama and tnessee south carolina are happy to recruit to my son is going to alabama. speeches? >> jack ciattarelli, they smell blood the republicans. as i said before, democrats have failed in 64 years to elect a third term democrat. and if she's elected, it would be the third term democrat. we're term restricted here in new jersey. no democrat has gotten a third term since 1961. so when we saw jack ciattarelli's speech, i think it was 0-60, we're at war. he was very, very aggressive. and he was very spefic about the lament. trump is in this race her with the both of them.

and the issueue with mikie' speech, she has the harder task which is to heal the party, moderates versus conservatives. and she has to then appeal to the independents who are very, very fickle in new jersey in the lalast few gubernatorial elections. as bill murphy found out when not enough of them showed up for him. that's why jack nearly won by four percentage points. she has to do that as well as have a theme that separates her from the status quo to change. and it's very difficult to do because you're gonna disappoint a lot of your supporters when you realize you can't be like raz and go to that full monty of progressivism because you lose the independent vote and a lot of your base. she has a lot of thinking to do

that this state would not be run by a trurump lackey, a referenc to donald trump fully supporting jack ciattarelli and him taking that support and running with it. mikie sherrill also talked about the beauty of new jersey. saying she loves the fact that you can spend the morning i in e mountains and by the afternoon youan be dn the shore. she mentioned some of new jeey's very own whitney houston, bruce springsteen and others. really trying to tap into the pride of new jersey. it's clear, as you have said, mikie sherrill has an uphill battle against jack ciattarelli. he's got t trump support, he's got a lot of republican support and she has to really galvanize a realally crowded democratic field. supporters were split.
