so last december, j.c. hosted an event to celebrate the victory of president trump in japan by inviting dan snyder, executive director of the acu and keys the trade commissioner and it was a big success. [ applause ] and this time i came back to cpac and i noticed something. so i have been here the last three days and i had some mysterious freedom, a sense of oneness here.

i noticed i was not the -- i was not alone, but i was always with you working together to realize the idea of a conservatism, even if we're physically apart. [ applause ] so this year, i'm going to be more proactive and aggressive with the three focusing points. first thing, i'm going to devote myself to realize the liberty, the free society -- liberty of a free society by lowering the tax and also eliminate all regulations that are choking our business activities. acu together i want to increase my fellow friends -- conservative friends all over asia. because we have a very clear threat in asia such as north korea and china. third, so under the conservative president that you finally got after eight years, u.s. and japan, we need to enforce our bonds and entrench the foundation of conservatism by working together.
