to the firing of the finance minister. she became prime minister in september 6. this is about 10 minutes.

i have decided to keep the increasing corporation tax that was planned by the previous government. this will raise 18 billion pounds per year. it will act as a down payment on a fiscal plan which will be accompanied by a forecast. we will do what is necessary to ensure debt is falling in the medium term. we will control the size of the state to ensure taxpayer money is spent well. our public sector will become more efficient to deliver services for the british people. spending will grow less rapidly than previously planned. i met the former chancellor earlier today. i was incredibly sorry to leave him. he is a great friend. she shares my vision to set this

country on the path to greatness. today, i asked her me hunt to become the new chancellor. -- germany hunt. she shares my convictions and editions for my country. he will deliver the medium term fiscal plan at the end of this month. he will see through the support we are providing to help families and businesses, including our energy price guarantee. he would drive our nation to take forward the supply side reforms. we owe it to the next generation to improve our economic performance, to deliver higher wages, and new jobs. and to ease the burden of debt. i backed it decisively today because my party is ensuring --
