When you have started JigSaw, you first have to load a picture file into the game-area (Select "File", "Load Picture" or "Clipboard"). The following formats for picture files are supported: *.ICO; *.BMP; *.WMF; *.GIF; *.JPG. If you want to load a picture that uses a different file format, you first have to convert this picture to one of these formats. There are several programs available on bulletin boards or the Internet that will make these conversions for you.
Once the picture is loaded, you are given the opportunity to set the number of pieces you want to play with (Select "Options").
The next step you have to perform is scrambling the pieces. This can be done manually or automatic. For manual shuffling, just click somewhere on the picture and move the piece to the place you want it to be.
You are now ready to play JIGSAW!
