The back lot, stock footage and Bronson Canyon adventures begin with a coming attraction and a cartoon. Then Irish McCalla starrs in the low-budget jaw-dropper “She Demons.” The intermission short is chapter 2 of “Panther Girl of the Congo” with Phyllis Coates. Then a hand mirror lures cutie-pie Rochelle Hudson onto captivity in “The Savage Girl,” and yes there’s a guy in a gorilla suit.
2am theater totally rocks in content, construction, and picture quality. Decidedly not for viewing prior to 12am - if you have a limited entertainment availability because of kids etc. and get to kick it with your device in the wee hours of weekend nights, even pass out with the earbuds still in, and really like this kind of cinema, dude, look no further.

Actresses were much more elegant in this classic film era. Was it the actual grade of the film, the special lighting in, or the simple black and white background that made them so dreamy and ethereal looking ? The women today are just as beautiful today, so that has not changed. What is different in the filming today?
