The effect of scintillation on turbulence induced centroid anisoplanatism is discussed. It is shown that this effect has negligible impact on the resulting Strehl ratio for D/r sub o or = 100, where D is the optics aperture diameter and r sub o is the turbulence induced lateral coherence length.
