Bogart and Bacall together again, this time in a film noir that has Bogart as an escaped convict trying to prove his innocence. Unusual in that the first third was shot POV (point of view, a.k.a. FPP, first person perspective). Strong supporting cast. Exteriors filmed in and around San Francisco. Adapted from the novel "The Dark Road" by David Goodis.
TRIVIA: The third of four films costarring Bogart and Bacall. A film shot almost entirely shot POV/FPP was "Lady in the lake," released shortly before "Dark Passage." Its trailer is in this collection.
