This is the third of five volumes comprising a directory of public and nonpublic elementary and secondary day schools in the United States and outlying areas for 1968-69. This volume provides names and addresses of public schools in the Southeast Region. Institutional information includes grade span; number of pupils in prekindergarten and kindergarten, elementary grades, and high school; number of teachers in each of these categories; and number of high school graduates in 1967-68. Indications are provided as to types of programs offered, including regular day school programs, special programs for the handicapped, vocational education programs, special programs for the educationally disadvantaged, and adult education programs.
