I'm excited to announce that the first episode of my podcast about the Mahabharata is now available. There are more episodes to come shortly. This one is just a brief introduction to let you know what this project is all about.

Podcast about the Mahabharata
I heard the first five episodes and am pleasantly surprised to find them very well rendered. As they were not read from a book but retold by the Author as he understood, it was equally praiseworthy that he did a fine job of translation as also the narration. I wish interested readers should give this a hearing to learn about the Great Epic "The Mahabharata".

Well..
This is bizarre. I've been listening to this podcast for the past month. And today I logged onto
Archive.org on some other business, and BY ACCIDENT found this same podcast. It's awesome. I've been reading the Mahabharata culturally for years. I really appreciate this sober scholarly look at it from the perspective of a non-Hindu. Highly recommended.

The Mahabhrata Podcasts
I have listened to the first dozen or so episodes and I am loving these broadcasts! Fun and informative; your presentation is well balanced. I blog about Bhagavad Gita (
slokaasitis.blogspot.com) and have added a link for my readers.
