tv   The Ingraham Angle  FOX News  November 24, 2021 12:00am-1:00am PST

12:00 am
the time we have left for this evening. thanks for joining us. never ever miss an episode. let not your heart be troubled. laura ingraham is next. have a great thanksgiving. >> laura: you am laura ingraham and this the "the ingraham angle" from washington. a cop laura: i'm laura ingraham. a virginia cop lost his job after was found out he donated to kyle rittenhouse's defense fund. affairs acquittal michael kelly wants's job back. he's here with an update. as thanksgiving approaches, is president biden giving the country the bird. raymond arroyo explains it in seen and unseen but first, kyle and the liberal mind is the focus of tonight's angle.
12:01 am
the reaction to the kyle rittenhouse trial and tucker's interview with him got me thinking. liberals used to believe in more, not less speech and were defenders of the first amendments, they were suspicious of overzealous prosecutors and were wary of elites who pretended to care about the downtrodden. they believed in a colorblind society. but now they've slipped on so many fronts. the new liberals are illiberal. they lose all sense of logic where politics is concerned. they are the closed minded, intolerant people you will ever and ever. the deuce invite conservative relatives from weddings and bar mitzvahs. if you voted for trump they next you from the holiday party this long ago. in school refused to teach the
12:02 am
great works of western civilization, all racist of course, they reject american history because it is filled with white privilege and for them our nation should forever be defined by two things, slavery and oppression and they refused to think about anything that disrupts this rigid worldview for instance why did president eisenhower have a portrait of robert e lee in the oval office and why, in human biology, either only two sexes, what of jacob blake, michael brown, and george ford hadn't resisted their arrest and if rittenhouse didn't deserve the right to self defense, who does but they instead stay inside their own cocoon. notes of questions, no hypotheticals, no independent thought, no critical thinking, just ranting.
12:03 am
>> to make a hero of rittenhouse is appalling and disgraceful. >> you will not be spared because the victims of kyle written notes were white. >> the kyle nelson verdict, acquittal shared by the far right even as it strikes fear in the hearts of communities of color. >> all of this was unfair and untrue. he's not only not a racist, the only thing kyle written now seems biased against our riots. >> i'm not a racist person. i support the blm movement, i support peacefully demonstrating, i believe there needs to be change. there is a lot of prosecutorial misconduct not just in my case that other cases and it is amazing to see how much a prosecutor can take advantage of somebody. of this happened to me imagine what happened to a person of
12:04 am
color doesn't have the resources i door not widely publicized like my case. >> great point. this jerry was not corrupt. applying law and facts, hearing testimony including kyle's they acquitted him on all counts but the modern left doesn't care. instead it is cut the steak. >> does not change the fact three people got shot. two people were murdered. to me it is murder, sorry. >> compared by verbally adversary to the words of the 18-year-old is life they hope to shatter, his words to president biden suggested he was a white supremacist, here they are. >> mister president, if i could say one thing to you i urge you to go back and watch the trial and understand the facts before you make a statement. it is actual malice, defame in my character for him to say something like that.
12:05 am
it is quite hysterical how nobody can go back and look at the facts of the case, the lies that they get away with spreading. species although i wouldn't have wanted my own teenage son to rush into a right like kyle did come armed or not, rittenhouse really impressed me in this interview with tucker. he was more poised and knowledgeable about the constitution than any member of the squad and more sincere than the current speaker of the house. >> the right thing to do would be to turn myself in. i didn't do anything wrong. it is obvious self-defense. this wasn't a political case. it was made a political case. had nothing to do with race and the ways people are twisting this is sickening.
12:06 am
laura: this was never about politics but the left desperately needed it to be. they wanted to make an example out of kyle. they know an armed citizenry is the last defense against the soft tierney many of them prefer to democracy. you see, for them, it can't be the kyle rittenhouse is innocent. instead they reflexively build up the domestic abusers who were riding that night as mythical figures. >> they could have saved dozens of lives. i would never jump in front of the guy with an ar 15. they were heroes and i'm sick and tired of everybody making these they deserved to die, they were unbelievably grave, courageous individuals. laura: what happened to thinking for ourselves or we so trapped in our own bubbles we lose sight of thinking independently? there is a world beyond twitter
12:07 am
and constant protests. at some point we need to grow up. we have too many adults afraid of asking questions or of recognizing the truths that are right in front of them. contrary to what the regime media would have you believe conservatives are today's rebels especially on college campuses, conservatives question authority when appropriate like when doctor fauci tried to tell us which relatives are safe to see this thanksgiving. we don't follow the pronouncement of celebrities like colin kaepernick. we don't assume the worst in people because of their skin, like so many on the left did with kyle rittenhouse. get their default position is to demonize smart and thoughtful people who disagree with them. >> they hate aaron rodgers because he thinks for himself, and a woman like winsome spears who they think isn't really black because she doesn't
12:08 am
worship big government and by the way this intellectual decay didn't happen overnight. it occurred over decades with liberals subverting the institutions that traditionally nurtured critical thinking skills and love of country turning them all into cheap propaganda outlets. they produce graduates who never been tested, never been held accountable so of course they wither under real questioning. >> in june he suggested defenders of the filibuster are motivated at least in part by racism. do you still feel that way? >> it is when i look at history, use of the filibuster seems to be triggered in points like this where it is about uplifting black folks in our country and protecting them. laura: that makes no sense especially in recent history. we have big city mayors play the
12:09 am
victim while their policies victimize the most disadvantaged. >> there is violence and disruption, what's your message to people on the streets? >> my message is you've been heard, thank you for calling out the administration for what it is doing. it is unconstitutional, it is a threat to democracy. laura: or a vice president with a law degree who is so it over her head she makes president biden will capable. >> what else are you going to do to fix this problem? >> let's start with this. prices have gone up. on a daily level something that is a heavy weight to carry. it is something we take very seriously. >> an embarrassment to liberals everywhere.
12:10 am
this is the best your movement can produce, time to rethink your plan, people, america thrives when we reward those of all colors and backgrounds who are hard-working, capable, and independent. instead we are rewarding those who spend waking hours waiting for the world to come to them, to their rescue and all the while complaining about how unfair the world is, how unfair life is and we need dedicated public servants who understand if they refuse to protect the public safety the public will have to protect themselves. time to demand better of ourselves and those we elect to office and that is the angle. to enemies j d vance, author of hillbilly elegy. great to see you tonight. it isn't just that there's a deficit in the number of good elected officials we have. it is also that so many of them actively work against what is best for their own citizens. it is stunning. >> exactly right. if you look what happened in wisconsin you have a court prosecutor going after kyle rittenhouse bringing a case to trial that never should have been brought in the first place so thank god he was acquitted
12:11 am
and in the same state you have a prosecutor letting a guy go on $1,000 cash bail who kills five and now six people and effectively a terrorist attack in wisconsin but you need people you elect to do a job to actually do it and so many public officials are so motivated by a certain ideology they are unable to carry out the public charge people give them. laura: jen psaki was asked about president biden's defamation a file written character today. >> with the president ever apologize to the acquitted kenosha shooter kyle rittenhouse received an online that he is a white supremacist? >> hatred, division and violence, that was done in a video. >> that is such a pathetic dodge but it is what we've come to
12:12 am
expect from people who refuse to take accountability. >> exactly right. i have expected her to say the president doesn't remember what he said yesterday much less six months ago. it wasn't just the president and his television advertising but many things he said during his campaign. he was actively criticizing this kid. it is a sad contrast, a guy who embarrasses you every time he goes on television to actively criticizing a 17-year-old kid in a false and defamatory way. i hope kyle rittenhouse goes after these people, the media, the president, everybody lied about him and should have known better. laura: joy read continues to exemplify the left's best distorted view of the rittenhouse trial, check it out. >> the american right including the most craven openly inflammatory bomb throwers in the republican party celebrated the gunning down of 3 fellow americans like it was the super bowl.
12:13 am
laura: contrary to what joy read says most people on the right are really depressed that it was a 17-year-old who felt it was necessary to put himself in this situation, no one wants to see any loss of life but that was because local officials wouldn't keep the peace. >> we are with the adults was this felt a 17-year-old kid because law enforcement, local prosecutors, everybody gave up kenosha to the mob sitting local businesses on fire, destroying, writing including the community. where were the adults? i feel bad that kyle rittenhouse felt he had to go do something because none of the people who were prone supposed to protect kenosha were doing it. laura: great to see you and have a happy thanksgiving. speaking of lessons learned from the rittenhouse case the virginia police officer who was fired for donating to kyle's defense fund wants his job back.
12:14 am
lieutenant william kelly donated $25 to help fund rittenhouse's legal fees and that donation was uncovered after hackers out of him and his donation, it went public in an article by the guardian and now that rittenhouse has been found not guilty, he demands he get his badge back but william, this is one of the grossest examples of mob justice i have seen. your message to everyone watching? >> the rittenhouse verdict vindicates my donation in the comments that i made which every american has the right to express their opinions especially on a topic that is being debated in the public square. just because i am a police officer doesn't mean i don't have that freedom anymore. my comments made anonymously didn't identify myself by name
12:15 am
or as a police officer or anybody associated with the city of norfolk. that somebody hacked into the website and was able to connect those dots doesn't mean i did anything wrong, i made those commentss. laura: cnn made comments about your firing in april. >> kellyanne section 0 trust between police in those communities they are sworn to protect, talk about anger, talk about disparate treatment this is why people are so angry in this country. >> you look at that and say wow. what was he thinking? laura: these people are so stupid. response to these people, you apparently is a police officer in your own free time have no right to donate to a cause you would like to donate to. >> the city of north looked at was opinions that are approved so i thought as an american i could come to my own conclusion after watching the videos and collecting the evidence and
12:16 am
being an average american expressing personal beliefs but if it is the wrong opinion i should be fired. laura: the police chief who fired you, didn't he attend a blm protest, is that right? >> you are right. he took a sign, blm sign that had the name of the person who was recently shot vinyl for police officer and demanded justice for that person at a time that the case was being reviewed by a prosecutor's office to determine if the officer's use of force was justified by law, he held that blm sign and walked in uniform while on duty at a blm gathering. i don't understand how that type of behavior -- laura: that is okay. when police or local officials
12:17 am
are unable or unwilling to keep the peace and keep people safe and their property secure are you surprised citizens step in and try to do that and won't that happen all over the country in these liberal jurisdictions? >> it is not something i would do but i understand the human nature to protect your community and i can tell you those decisions are not being made by officers on the scene. they are made by people downtown who are calling the shots. laura: thank you for appearing tonight. why the looters in that smash and grab in california will probably walk and how donald trump is right about the further degradation of our civilization. our political panel is here on that and more in moments.

12:23 am
radical leftist dna diana becton put forward a new policy requiring prosecutors must act leniently and consider whether the theft was committed for personal needs. 's and believe it's on needed by everyone. san francisco's abc affiliate ran article quoting experts who warned against using the term looting when describing acts like this as it incorporates racial undertones they say. stephen miller, former trump senior advisor, america first legal photo, harmeet dhillon, rnc committeewoman and tammy bruce, fox news contributor and host of get tammy bruce on fox nation. we have das literally endangering their citizens. this has to stop. how and when will it stop? >> liberals in literal cities
12:24 am
like san francisco are beginning to wake up. i'm seeing this in my next-door apps and efforts recall some of these politicians so that is good news but what we need is for a good career prosecutors to step up, for lawyers to step up and run for these positions that have been neglected by conservatives who run to run for higher offices. when they have a choice they are beginning to elect those politicians and prosecutors more in favor of public safety. the problem in california is not just the crazy prosecutors the criminal justice reform laws that allow fees people to downgrade serious crimes to
12:25 am
misdemeanors, prosecutors and judges have no latitude. >> there is no repercussions in california, chicago, there's theft and robbery everywhere. your group is involved in efforts to get these das out but they are well-funded. >> the left's effort to destroy the in america is finance the richest people on planet earth including george soros who live and functional palaces with security guards and forcing unsuspecting citizens, prosecutors literally protecting violent criminals and resulting not only in massive looting and theft but catastrophes like we've seen in wisconsin.
12:26 am
this seems to be a national movement to restore law and order at every level and when republicans win back the majority they need to pass legislation that conditions federal funding on tough on crime policies. laura: i still move to your hometown, new york city, where a statue of thomas jefferson was removed from city hall, has been there for 187 years. four years ago when the left started getting going on the tearing down the confederate statues trump was ridiculed for predicting this. >> this week it is robert e lee, i noticed stonewall jackson is coming down. i resent george washington next week? is a thomas jefferson the week after? you have to ask yourself where does it stop, we going to take down statues to george washington? how about thomas jefferson, what do you think of thomas jefferson you like him? we take down the statue? he was a major slaveowner. >> trump was right, we will say that a lot i'm sure.
12:27 am
>> we will indeed. we sought unfolding once again in northern california, san francisco school board focusing on changing names of schools that honored abraham lincoln and george washington. americans are seeing this, we're seeing this unfold in the polls but what this headset is the nature and part of what it means to be american. because the the nation built on an idea represented by the founders you've got to erase the nation's heroes and then you can erase the reason for the nation to exist. this is classic, you see these people universities sitting around a table talking about this, the state of nature, they want us to revert to this hobbesian reality which is meant to be the next this that people would embrace a totalitarian
12:28 am
regime, these are people who come from university that focus on this kind of dynamic, ruining people's lives, creating proposition 47 in california that makes it a ticket for shoplifting anything up to $900, they are asking for people to ruin their own lives, to rely on the worst of ourselves and that's not in the american sensibility, not the american way. they are trying to do this. new york is letting it happen and of course new yorkers and others voted for a lot of republicans in the last election we have to say enough is enough because the people it hurts the people in your been areas, the people who have poverty, the stores that get robbed my grocery stores have been shutting down, they leave these neighborhoods and it destroys jobs and destroys quality-of-life. >> there is a new bill in new york that would allow illegals
12:29 am
to vote in local elections, 800,000 of them. it is expected to be approved next month and that means new york city is the largest municipality allowing noncitizens to vote. quick reaction and miller has to react. >> we have this law with respect to the school board, only a few dozen parents signed up to vote but if they were allowed to vote countywide it would be different. when you have prosecutors who are saying these looters and rioters really need a hand back to eat and survive you have a distorted vision of reality. people are going to reject that. laura: you predicted this would happen, let millions in, the foundations of the country torn down by the left replaced with what?
12:30 am
also exile idea of what america should be? >> witnessing the plan in action, they are trying to abolish citizenship, abolish borders, abolish the concept of sovereignty itself. in 2024, donald trump could win back the white house on the issue of restoring border control alone because what is happening to this country today will if not stopped be -- >> we are also finding out in fairfax county, so much to malt with crt and all that, now afghan refugees are coming in, kids entitled to an education but schools are under huge pressure after covid, low test scores and all the rest in bringing in 100 refugees most to have any formal schooling in
12:31 am
afghanistan and now they are in places like fairfax. >> yes. we saw this come always we've seen it at the border where you've got individuals trying to teach english, teaching people who haven't held a writing instrument, for himself, central america service bulk of individuals from totalitarian societies who know nothing, don't necessarily know the language and are in this environment very vulnerable vulnerable individuals who can be great americans if they make it through but they are going to be condemned because of dynamic we see where they targeted american kids these kids coming over, these young people are looking at them like the next meal, the teachers unions, this is why the 70, need to keep them
12:32 am
ignorant, keep them vulnerable and that is why all of us have to care about this regardless of your position politically on immigration or anything else this kind of attitude is destroyed the countries these people are fleeing and we are putting them back into that environment here. it is an incredible. will: have a great thanksgiving and government and media trying to limit your thanksgiving celebrations and biden gives the country the bird, raymond will explain it in the tuesday edition of scene and gobble gobble on scene next. u can selln a term policy - for an immediate cash payment. call coventry direct to learn more. we thought we had planned carefully for our retirement. but we quickly realized we needed a way to supplement our income. our friend sold their policy to help pay their medical bills, and that got me thinking. maybe selling our policy could help with our retirement. i'm skeptical, so i did some research and called coventry direct. they explained life insurance is a valuable asset that can be sold. we learned we could sell all of our policy, or keep part of it with no future payments. who knew? we sold our

12:39 am
the holiday, part of it is simply politics. for whatever reason even the media trying to dictate the terms of your thanksgiving celebration. this is nbc's vicki win. >> for the the turkey. bear with me. i know that is the staple of the thanksgiving meal was however some people think turkey is overrated and it tends to be the most important thing on the table, maybe to an italian feast instead. i will say this. if you tell everyone you have a thanks giving without turkey some guests may drop off the list and that is a way to cut costs too. >> how do you forgo media advice on the holidays. they are trying to blame biden's policies which led to the inflationary pressures on the people buying turkey. you should to be set at home and eat beans and spam and that will make everything better. this is absurd. laura: we are supposed to be happy with less because biden is
12:40 am
president as we are going to have a lot less. we are supposed to be happy with it and never dreamed your. she's not taking my turkey,. >> the new governor of new york issued her own advice for celebrating the holiday. >> get more people vaccinated and get the booster if you haven't had it, wear a mask indoors, maintained the distance. we really should be avoiding large gatherings in indoor spaces. >> grandma and grandpa in bubble wrap, let the meat through straws in the back porch. where does end? science to substantiate these recommendations in your home? laura: don't you see her grabbing her butterball turkey with an actual booster shot and shoving that shot in the rear end of the turkey? you picture that. these people will not stop until they cancel all tradition in the united states, don't want any of it to happen. she can flow -
12:41 am
>> it is almost maniacal. they are trying to shame people out of serving turkey. they issued this heartwarming tweet keep your fists out of birds's buts. trying to equate eating a turkey with a sexual act, of outlandish proportion is way off the grid. nobody comments on the act, we just use this when it comes in handy to get stuffing a turkey. really. laura: i'm walking away from that entire discussion. are they against stuffing with brittle will he give us breadcrumbs for the stuffing? we will be begging for breadcrumbs. >> i give it the president biden, he maintained the venerable white house tradition of partnering some thanksgiving turkeys this week but with biden it is hard to separate the
12:42 am
turkey from the foul. >> as i said before, every american wants the same income we want to look the turkey in the eye and tell him everything going to be okay. turkey is infrastructure. >> i to ponder this. he knows it is a joke to make everything from child care to the environment infrastructure. infrastructure gets the turkey from the market to our homes, not the turkey. this could be why we are in a crisis we are in. laura: in biden's on america's that would qualify as infrastructure because -- nothing else - these people are killed ors. they have no fun except when they think the camera is not rolling, then they take off their masks and it is pretty central like your mayor in new orleans will be partying with that mask off. >> nancy pelosi and or outdoor

parties, have a grand old time, to bundle up and double back, biden continued his pardon of peanut butter and jelly and reveals truth. listen to this. >> peanut butter and jelly were selected based on their temperament, appearance and i suspect vaccination status. instead of getting basted they are getting boosted and may god bless you all. >> he can't even get a turkey pardon right but this is an interesting revelation that your work is based on your vaccine status so if you are vaccinated you can be pardoned and spared. if not, the ovens for you. it is more than a joke. laura: they have a covert cased
12:44 am
system for people, the as the world turns actor got canned, covid caste system for turkeys as well. these people -- >> thanksgiving -- ashley: he said this was a good-looking turkey. was he caressing the turkey, the shoulders? >> on his appearance and vaccination status. >> get close to your kids. laura: happy thanksgiving and why biden's policy isn't raising gas and energy prices for your family. he threatening our future security. senator john kennedy explained this all in moments. stay there.

>> i want you to >> i to you to take a look. you don't have to agree but look in my eyes. i guarantee you, i guarantee you we are going to end fossil fuel. >> promises made promises kept. the average national price is $3.40 per gallon, that is up 62% compared to the $2.10 average of one year ago. furthermore the us energy information administration predicts energy bills this
12:50 am
winter could rise 50% for those depending on natural gas, 59% using heating oil. the united states sitting on one of the greatest untapped energy reserves in the world, is biden ramping up us production? of course he is not. he has announced the release of 50 million barrels of unrelieved oil from the strategic petroleum reserve. >> you should see the price of gas drop when you fill up your tank and in the longer-term. and we shift to clean energy. right now i will do what needs to be done to reduce the price you pay at the pump. laura: it is a power move, only covers 2 and a half days of usage. joining me senator john kennedy of the appropriations committee. much of that reserve is located, he started the fire in the house
12:51 am
and now he says we have to get some people to help us put it out. your reaction? >> here is what i think for what it is worth. releasing 50 million barrels of oil from our strategic petroleum reserve which is our national emergency soil savings account that make make any difference on the price of gas. as you pointed out america consumes 20 million barrels of oil a day. that is 2 and a half days. that is why after the president's announcement oil futures went up, not down. we are going backwards here. number 2. i think that one of the differences between people and
12:52 am
dogs is dogs would never allow the weakest or the dumbest to lead the pack. president biden's energy policy is both weak and dumb. he and his friends have eliminated in america's hard-fought energy independence and here is their new policy. from foreign countries that hate us, money to buy weapons to kill us and foreign countries, opec, russia increasing oil production at any price, that's the main reason you see gas prices going up. another way of putting it is the
12:53 am
reason gas prices are going up is because the oil prices in louisiana and texas and the dipsticks are in washington dc. i read that somewhere. laura: it is not just biden but the secretary of energy. >> how many barrels of oil do we pursue a day? >> don't have a number. laura: she doesn't have that number in front of her. we are not facing a crisis now created of their own making, she doesn't know how many barrels of oil we use a day as energy secretary. what does this say about the quality of our cabinet? >> they are trying to create a distraction. they know what the answer to this is. go back to what we were doing in december of last year. let america be energy independent.

we've got the reserves, his reliance on foreign oil causing gas prices to go through the roof. if many people won the lottery first thing they would do is fill up their gas tanks. it is just ridiculous. the average price is $3.50. i was in california a couple weeks ago, $5 a gallon. laura: is great to see you tonight. you and your family have a wonderful thanksgiving. one of the most unintentionally hilarious tweets of all time. i will explain it in moments. .'s cute like her grandpa. voya doesn't just help me get to retirement... ...they're with me all the way through it. voya. be confident to and through retirement.
