tv   Unfiltered With Dan Bongino  FOX News  October 9, 2022 12:00am-1:00am PDT

12:00 am
gowdy. down is teaching me all about it now. i'm on twitter, facebook, instagram and rumble. "unfiltered" with dan bongino is on now [♪] dan: i have got a big show lined up for you tonight. florida governor ron desantis is here with an update on the florida recovery effort after they build a new bridge in just three days. a retired nypd directive and clinical psychologist take us insieltd mind of a killer. they tried to silence him after
12:01 am
he challenged their narratives on joe rogan's podcast. then twitter band him without warning. we all do it. everyone does it. scrolling on tiktok. snow no surprise here but it's hurting our health. a doctor who studies the actual brain. the elon musk story has been in the news all week. you get to see what's going on in my head. why are they really ticked off about elon? they love elon when they can drive around in their teslas and look like they are environmentally friendly. elon was their hero. you know what they are upset about? i will give you a few minutes but we are short on time. they are afraid of speech. this is about speech and fear.
12:02 am
it's about you not being able to speak as a conservative, and the liberal fear of you speaking out making them look like buffoons. they know elon musk wants to open up twitter and make it a free speech platform. you could unfollow him. but no they don't want that. this is on cnbc this week. dan nathan is so upset about being exposed to ideas he doesn't like, he said i'm taking my toys and going home. >> if they let donald trump on twitter would you leave the service? >> yes. i'm not on truth social for a reason. dan: we don't need you there. i got off twitter for a little bit. i thought there was new management and i came back.
12:03 am
it was a mistake leaving. i like to put conservative ideas on there. but i like to debate ideas. we have a segment on this show you are watching now that we do called the rebuttal where we invite democrats on. we are into that crazy idea bedrock of the constitutional republic that free speech is kind of a thing. the best way to hash out problems is to talk about them. the "wall street journal" reported on this this week about climate change. if they are so comfortable that the world is going to end in 12 years, comfortable that the science is settled, they kind of said that. why not argue it out. why are they so eager to have people censored online.
12:04 am
here is another thing. they don't want to talk about education issues, school choice, tax issues, regulation. they wanted everybody censored. the other thing they want him censored about. if they don't want you talking about the nord stream pipeline and possible nuclear war. if they do, you have to have talking points they give you. you will have to look that up on the side. they attacked little old me. dan bongino mentioned maybe we don't know who bombed the nord stream pipeline. maybe we should ask questions. of course think tanks used to ask questions. but that went out with the woolly mammoth.
12:05 am
"forbes" attacked me too, for asking questions about the nord stream pipeline. i drew no conclusion and indicated i was speculating and indicated a few state actors could have been responsible. they didn't like that either. why do i ask questions and stuff? when the president of the united states goes to a closed door fundraiser in new york and he starts saying things like this, i don't think there is any such thing as the ability to easily use a tactical nuclear weapon and not end up with armageddon. i'm curious. the president of the united states goes to a fundraiser and talks about nuclear armageddon the biggest crisis since the cuban missile crisis. maybe if more media people would
12:06 am
ask questions instead of asking questions. maybe we could avoid a potential world war iii. and we are back to this. john kirby says now if you even ask questions about who may have done it. it's definitely you repeating russian propaganda. take a listen. >> the united states had nothing to do with it. it's russian propaganda and disinformation. i don't think we'll get into credentialing that in terms of who is responsible. dan: asking questions, definitely russian propaganda, which is kind of weird. because the russians don't have a constitution or constitutional
12:07 am
republic. so it's the exact opposite of russian propaganda. john, you were in the military,e globe. as long as you parrot the company narrative you can talk, but the minute you stray they will rope you back in. you can't even talk about human rights violations in china. there is a resolution on the human rights situation in china, they don't even want you talking about that. they always jump to the defend the socialists and communists who don't like free speech. then when we start to ask questions they say we are parroting russian pop began today. and if you talk about climate change you better parrot the narrative.
12:08 am
the world will end in 12 years, hurricanes are frequent, worse and more intense. they have very little data to back that up. if you stray you will find yourself banned. joining me is mark morano. i want to get your take on this. biden and the united nations, their under secretary general. >> i think it one thing this has finally ended is the discussion about whether there is climate change and we should do something about it. >> if you google climate change you will get all kinds of u.n. resources. we started this partnership which we were shocked to see when we googled climate changed we were getting incredibly distorted information at the top. we own the science.
12:09 am
dan: mark, they own the science? that sounds dystopian. you are not allowed to question it. they own it? >> they believe it's their intellectual property rights. they have a monopoly on truth. that's their mindset. what is the united nations climate panel it's a self-serving lobbying organization look at whether co2 causes a climate today tas trophy. if they can't find it does, they have no reason to exist. if they say it's a today as row the if i the u. northwest is also in charge of coming up with a solution. they have every reason to claim ownership. it's understandable why they would bizarrely claim that. what's shock is the united nations and google get together
12:10 am
and suppress dissent and censor anyone who would dare challenge the united nations climate panel. dan: you wrote a book about the great reset. this is the great reset, isn't it. >> they are collapsing our energy food transportation and free speech rights. they are doing it without a vote. big tech censorship is government censorship. it's a collusion between the two. we see it in climate and covid every day. dan: until governor ron desantis on the recovery effort after hurricane ian. remember the american rescue act? they left out the part about
12:11 am
drag queen story hour. pete hegseth is here straight ahead.

12:15 am
dan: it's been a long week for floridans as florida recovers from the devastation left behind hurricane ian. he has had some vicious attacks from the media, especially before the president's visit. how is it going and how can people help? >> the best way to help is go top floridadisasterfund.org.
12:16 am
that money will go to volunteer florida there is no charge from mastercard or visa for the charges. we have had a lost people help us. and we appreciate that. that's probably the best way. we had a massive response staged. we have 24,000 ryanme linemen s, coast guard staged and rescue staged. we have 99 plus percent of power is on, and most floridians had relatively modest interruptions. we are work on getting people back on their fees who were displaced. there are unfortunately people whose homes were destroyed or
12:17 am
severely damaged. but it has been a robust effort and i think the people of florida appreciate everybody who has been involved with this, especially the first responders. dan: i know the area well. when i ran for congress i knocked on a lot of doors. the pine island bridge. you wound up getting a bridge up rather quickly in just a few days. how did you guys get that up and running so fast in just a couple days. and what about sanibel, any timeline on that? >> pine island bridge, the road to the bridge got snok knocked out. they were advised to depart from the island because they wouldn't have accessibility. but that not what they wanted to do. they want to stay in their
12:18 am
homes. they said can the state help with the road and the bridge. i said yes we'll. the department of transportation within three days were able to reopen the bridge. we have puck sli -- we have pubg their trucks. and it's important they are able to get back on their feet. sanibel we also said we would take care of that. that causeway severed in three different places. so it's a little bit more in depth. we believe we'll have it done this week. in the meantime we have first responders and national guard. we are bringing utility workers to get on that island and start making sense of the electric situation. when i toured that in person,
12:19 am
you would see concrete utility poles snapped in half. there was a lot of debris. so that will take a lot of effort. but we are barging people there. and when the causeway is back open, you will be able to run trucks again. >> governor desantis, thanks for your time and efforts. we appreciate it. >> thanks, dan. dan: six murders, six crime scenes and a serial killer. ivy league schools where federal judges boycott working with their students and put them on notice. >> i think we finish it off by saying return to sender.

dan: welcome back to "unfiltered." i see this nancy pelosi gem. it got me thinking about something. take a listen to what i saw and heard. >> we have a shortage of workers in our country. you see in florida some of the farmers and growers say why are you shipping these immigrants up north? we need them to -- to pick the crops down here. dan: well, if you hear democrats
12:26 am
talk enough you hear them out themselves as racist. he now and then a line slips and catches the attention of people who aren't racist like most of us. in honor of a few from democrats who say racist stuff all the time. i decided to bring you the most racist moments from democrats coming in as number four. kamala harris' word salad took a radical turn. take a listen. >> it's our lowest income communities and communities of color that are most impacted by these extreme conditions. so we have to address this in a way that is about giving resources based on equity, understanding we fight for equality, but we also need to fight for equity.
12:27 am
dan: that's the first thing everybody is thinking about after a tragic hurricane. how to distribute aid based on the color of your skin. number 3, if you thought listening to. jon: was cringe. wait until you hear from his better half, dr. jill. the diversity of this community, and as disstink and the bodega in the bronx and the tacos. dan: i don't even know what is worse, comparing you to breakfast items or butchering the word bodegas to bow-da-ga. coming in at the deuce. who can forget former governor

ralph northam. to be fair. we are not actually sure who ralph is. is he the black face dude or the guy in the kkk outfit. ralph knows which one he is, but i don't. but let's just be clear. either one is a really bad idea. coming in as number 1. drum roll, please. here is the former first lady with a comment you may have forgotten all about. take a listen. >> what do you think of cory booker saying kick him in the shins. >> eric holder. >> i know they all look alike. >> no, they don't. dan: i can only imagine. can you imagine if donald trump
12:29 am
would have said something like that? i said this before. democrats are the real party of open blatant racism. we did a whole monologue on them. remember in the mid-terms who the left really is. they tell us over and over again. you just have got to listen. it's time for hot takes. three outrageous stories you may have missed but you need to know about. joining me, "fox and friends" host pete hegseth. the american rescue plan that rescues no one has found someone to rescue. fund may have been used to rescue drag queen store question hour for kids. you wrote an entire book on the fail of our education system. >> pete: we are surprised when 150

affiliate of harvard. the woman looks into the camera and says most of the kids i talk to are 7 to 9. and then she preaches saying accept everything your child is thinking. around parent, i'm a parent. there is nothing scientific about listening to your 3-year-old and what they think they want to do. zero. dan: the makeup artist i'm good friends with actually laughed when i brought up that segment. 12 federal judges are reportedly refusing to take clerks from yale law school over free speech concerns. michael anton is a great writer and he says we are not going to beat the left until we impose
12:32 am
real material losses. this is a real lose, the loss of potential clerk opportunities. >> yale law has been number one for four years. they send the most people to clerk for justices for the supreme court. these 12 federal judges are really significant important pipeline members of whether you will clerk for a supreme court justice. they are saying if you went to yale, we don't want you, because yale is indoctrinating you. there is not a single conservative professor. you are blocking free speech. it turns out if you come from yale you will be a bad clerk and bad employee, not the best of the best. we have to start rejecting the labels and the hierarchy that comes with them. this is a real loss. kids going to yale law school
12:33 am
say i don't know if i can become a clerk for anyone with common sense. dan: you sent your degree to harvard back. i watched you do it on the air. pete: that's what we can do to fight back. dan: thanks a lot, pete. coming up, he was censored after appearing on joe rogan and going against the covid narrative. 2008 twitter just kicked him off the platform

12:38 am
you have always been on this show and you have been ahead of the actual science. so what happened. why are the censorship hounds coming after you now? >> dan, doctors with medical authority, i testified in the u.s. senate and have been transparent with america on what's happening with the pandemic. what we saw a few days ago was instability. people saw tweeter followers added back on. then thursday night i saw my account go down to zero followers, then the account was suspended. dan: what do you think it is? i know they haven't been transparent with you about what the reason is? do you think it's an effort to get out of elon's ownership? what do you think it is? >> it's an act of medical

censorship. i have thousands of posted basically graphical abstracts of peer-reviewed science. this is coming on the heels of california ab-2098 which is the doctor muzzle law in california. dan: that's right. gavin newsom should be ashamed. this is going to destroy medicine. we already know the potential privacy risk with tiktok. but what is it about the platform that's so addictive to its one billion users. there is actual science behind getting hooked.
12:40 am
joining me is renowned psychologist dr. daniel abram. it's easy to waste hours and hours scrolg on tiktok. i have been on an elliptical machine and you look down and 30 minutes go by. what is it about this platform that is so addictive? >> every time you scroll, any time you see something that makes you a little bit happy, it increases dopamine. it goes to the pleasure centers of your brain. pretty soon you have wasted time and research shows it can damage your brain. kids who spend the most time tend to do the worst in school. this is a very serious problem and is increasing the incidents

12:47 am
problem. you weren't young by navy seals standards. you have got to really want to serve to immigrate here and go into the navy seals at 31. >> i believed it was my motivation to serve and support my country as best i can. but we mention other factors. and the bigger factor i think is deliberate undermining of the moral fabric of our nation. the attacks on our nation on moral values and family. faith and patriotism are producing these results that's young men and women are moving
12:48 am
away from traditional moral values. some outright shade america and american ideals. democrats celebrating people who were burning and stomping our flag. we remember democrats celebrating people who refused to stand up when the national anthem was being played. we remember democrats physically attacking fellow americans and even their children because they choose to support their favorite presidential candidate. and again this didn't happen overnight. it took decades. our universities did a fantastic job denigrating america, teaching hate to america. that was something that our higher education had a big role

12:55 am
most important for the investigators. can you e elaborate on that. >> definitely. man i had a case similar to this years ago where, you know, you go back and you look at the first case because the fact is that the -- if the serial killer is going to make a mistake he'll probably make in first crime he commits or first murder that he commits. we've seen that serial killers get better and better every time they go out there and they commit their crimes. so taking a closer look at the first homicide and also it's really odd to me the fact that the first time was in oakland, california, and stockton is 72 miles away so i believe that the killer might live somewhere close to next to first killing. >> doctor koolman i appreciate you joining us. the serial killer are, obviously, they don't think like rest of us they get a perverse
12:56 am
sense of enjoyment out of this or wouldn't be serial killers. what's going on there is there some kind of addictive component to this and they just don't feel human empathy like we do. and that's what makes these cases so disturbing. >> well, it is, and there is this kind of addictive quality for serial qhirls they begin killing because they get a rush. there's a bit of enjoyment because they're getting something out of that kill. s accomplishing something in their perverse little minds and so that's kind of what drives them to do it over and over again because they continue to kind of probe boundary and where they want to do more and more and they want that sense of satisfaction. and they are different from the rest of us i think it is safe to say most could be psychopaths and we do know from brain imaging studies that the psychopathic brain is different they don't feel empathy or guilt. simply they feel rage and act

12:58 am
is he knows he can probably find a victim and attack them. but he knows exactly where the cameras are. we have one video which is pretty bad but it does tell us one or two things about him and it's also really big is fact that we have one victim that's actually still live that can give us information regarding this shooter. >> doctor coolman i have a few seconds left but serial killers like this psychologically given profile don't give up and go retire. i mean, obviously, we can probably expect more of this. >> no. they're either going die probably at the handle of police or if they'll be caught. they're not just going gi up. this is -- this is essentially a passion project for them they're not going to stop because they get l so much from it and there's nothing that's going relieve them of their urge to kill. >> yep. doctor coolman harry thanks a lot for joining us. really appreciate it. >> thanks for having me.
