going to do the american people have common sense and they see the facts and see there was a laptop and an eyewitness in e-mails and all the suspicious activity reports now this e-mail that congressman isa has brought forward, the facts are already there, the real question will the fbi hold people accountable, i've got my doubts and frankly i'll believe it when i see it because this is the fbi where we had 14 agents come to us as whistleblowers and tell us how political it's gotten this is fbi that raided the home of a former president took this phone of a sitting member of congress and kicked in the pro-life leader two years ago outside of philadelphia interested in him in front of his wife and children in the local law enforcement said it was not a crime, not a problem. this is how political this fbi has become and i think a key point to remember this is the fbi who is involved in selves in every single election from the last four cycles, this is

you're going to send as a pretext to send this memorandum, and not let her go ahead and put the language about the patriot act and using counterterrorism against parents, did the white house suggest that language, did they tell them to put it in, those are key questions we need to get, there's all kinds of folks we need to bring in for deposition and hopefully including all the way up to the fbi director. maria: this is all concerning, particularly now, nobody wants to talk about the commander-in-chief being compromised but now were in a moment in time where we have these adversaries attacking or trying to overtake america and you have war on ukraine. hunter biden on the board of her reason making millions of dollars, overall. and then russia in its provocation killing people, death and destruction in ukraine. we know the mayor of moscow wire

poor family in our country has 150, that's where you'll see the focus on the investigation if in fact in one month time the american people put us in the majority. maria: the federalist is out with a report this week, the first thing republicans will do when they take back congress is to impeach merrick garland, what are your plans for merrick garland? >> they are right we have to look really close at the justice department. we may have to do major changes, there may be structural changes at the fbi, the washington field office has way too much power, you may need to disperse power, there needs to be process changes, the one of the things the fbi goes in interview someone, when they interviewed mike flynn they did a 302 and write things down and prosecuting michael flynn we think those interviews so should be an audiotape of that so we can get the fax of what took place because they know they would set up michael flynn in the early days of the trump

administration. maybe we need to do with their funding certainly we need to make changes to the pfizer reauthorize which will come up in the next congress those are key things we need to look at. then also the impeachment question, the committee will look at that'll be a decision for the entire conference under then speaker mccarthy. maria: the republican national committee is also saying that google suppressed 22 million plus gop e-mails sent september i spoke with ronna mcdaniel the other day she says all of your e-mails that get out the vote e-mails are going to spam and it's because of an algorithm google created, what is the media's role here? >> it certainly does not surprise me i was one of four members of congress who twitter shadow band a few years ago congress and meadows and gates

and nunes and myself during the mueller investigation, we know what it's like for big tech when they come after status i would port if we get the majority in whole big tech accountable and get rid of section 230 and do things that are really important to stop the censorship of conservative thought. this is not surprise me, remember this is the same big tech in the election in the days before the election of 2020 were the fbi, big government working in conjunction with big tech suppresses information that we the people needed to have in the days and weeks before the important election of the presidential election when the fbi went to facebook and said hey you may not want to be covering this information because this is russian disinformation the whole hunter biden story when in fact it wasn't that's a real concern and i'm more concerned about the connecting of a big government and big tech and how they're working together to go after conservatives and republicans and this is just another example

his votes for the crazy trillions of dollars have cause inflation and i think i was able to do that we had them among the ropes and dedicate the huge vibe momentum shift in our campaign. maria: do you feel that you have the funding that you need to take this to the finish line we know the senate is now giving you money but they cut you off early on, i know mitch mcconnell is funding lisa murkowski, the opponent to my guest right after you kelly tshibaka, you also feel you have the funding for peter teal? >> i do and i know a lot more people will get involved in october i think i showed people that this race is winnable i'm a much better candidate than senator kelli inactivate the other night, i think we'll have all the resources we need for this race.

i think it's good to be vote number 51 of the u.s. senate. it could not be more important. >> is critical for sure, i want to get your take on the paypal story paypal reversing the decision to find users $2500 if they violate the terms of service meaning they are going to find you if you come out with something that they disagree with and they find misinformation, peter teal is a founder paypal, what is going on there? >> it's so crazy as soon as i saw that i sent out a tweet and i said i'll be putting a stop to this very soon and then paypal reversed for five hours later, look how effective and being already and i'm not in the u.s. senate, what you going to do about it we needed a bill of rights, we need to ban companies

recognition last year but we are edging forward in the race right now we have thousands of doors that we have not personally mean my family doors across the state to encourage the fairbanks in october going to win this race were seen voters convert out the door because they don't know lisa murkowski's full record she does one thing here in alaska in the opposite in washington, d.c. she says she support the second amendment but she voted for the extreme gun control. those of the kinds of things that are opposite of our alaska values. i'm confident we will run this race. at the same time the republicans in the senate are funding lisa murkowski and they are paying for ads that are trying to smear you why would that be. >> that's absolutely right it's very shocking here and alaska republican party has censured murkowski they actually removed her from membership in endorsed me so she's not the republican

candidate in alaska even though it's a head-to-head between both of us she's only in the race at 50% because the democrats are behind her i don't know why mitch mcconnell decided to pull money from other candidates like blake masters and put it against me, $6 million in alaska goes a long way think about it like this in 2016 murkowski raised only $26 for her entire campaign. it seems like mitch mcconnell would rather have a minority he can control rather than majority that he cannot because after this lisa murkowski will owe him a lot of favors and she just does the bidding do from passing through all of the radical nominees that is shut down the energy industry, killed our jobs and inflated all of our grocery and gas prices, people are feeling across america or should do whatever mitch mcconnell wants her to do right after dobbs was passed she voted against codifying roe v. wade

entered around and introduce legislation to codify roe v. wade. she's an unreliable boat and will be tossed to and fro from the winds of washington, d.c. but the point is who is representing the voice of alaska we need our voice heard in washington, d.c. >> some of the big priorities for the american people are the forty-year high inflation and the fact the administration is pushing the climate agenda to the detriment of fossil fuel companies i believe lisa murkowski has been the deciding vote in some of these things, what can you tell us about your priorities as it relates to alaska, what about drilling, she wasn't just the deciding vote for the nominee pushing through the climate change agenda, she actually wrote the bill the push through the climate change agenda what were trying to focus on my big priority we've got to get ourselves energy independent

in our economy up and running people for alaska cannot pay for gas and groceries the way that the biden administration affects us we go to work to pay for gas that's how bad it is it is because of decisions murkowski has made. if you asked me my top priorities is economy, right after that we have to defend and protect our freedom our rights are under assault and it includes our second amendment rights, parents rights in education it affects everything from affordable housing to mental health resources, it affects everything americans are dealing with everyday and these are critical issues that are being talked about the national level including things like an open border is not a border we have to seal off our border and protector making citizens if we can have a decent respect for life and public safety in america, our streets need to be safe, education, public safety and economy is google as people are talking about the doorsteps in alaska but those are not the things lisa murkowski is talking about she talks about her friends in washington, d.c. in the votes they go to and fro she will pose kavanaugh but vote for

energy independent like we were under the trump administration, the fact he's mad at opec, i don't know why he's mad when you call for the rest of the world to make saudi arabian international pariah, you go and fall all over yourself to get to the eye round deal it upsets all the other countries go up be upset when opec is not your friend and does not raise production they did exactly what i think they wanted to do which was to get to biden and now the fact that he wants dirty oil from venezuela which is literally committed crimes against humanity is ludicrous we can do what we need to do here, we can protect americans we should be exporting liquefied natural gas as we can we don't need to be relying on anyone else for things like energy and going into our reserves this is hurricane season and exactly what you do not want to be doing is dipping into those reserves, it is meant for crisis.

maria: speaking of campaign you're likely on the ballot in 2024, are you going to run for president are you looking to team up and be the vp candidate? what are your plans? >> first of all i don't play for seconds so i'm not looking to be the vp, were really trying to make sure that we get house and senate candidates over the finish line we have 36 governor races we've been in a dozen states in the last few weeks helping all these candidates from georgia to pennsylvania to new hampshire to wisconsin and we're going to need to go so we can see this over the finish line republicans need to be humble and disciplined all the way to the end this will be the october surprise month where democrats drop everything on these candidates and we need to make sure were ready and i hope everything will join stanford america pac.com and see the candidates were endorsing we've endorsed over 55 candidates and put 6 million into the campaign so they can fight and fight

strong. maria: young women in your new book if you want something done given to a woman i love the sentiment is so wonderful exactly the way i feel tell me who wrote the book and who you're trying to reach. >> the publisher asked me to write this because there were a lot of books about men leaders and they wanted to see female leaders this is ordinary women who did extraordinary things and as a mom if you raise a strong girl she becomes a strong woman and strong women become strong leaders and these are stories that i hope will inspire and motivate every woman and girl to know that there is a place for you and if you work hard and prove that you deserve to be in the room, great things happen women are not victims we don't need to be treated like victims we don't need quotas or anything that will do us a favor we just need opportunities and we get opportunities we, strong. >> congrats on the book is good to see you, thank you so much. >> great to be with you.
