yet another horrific anti-semitic terror attack on u.s. soil this time by an illegal immigrant let in by the biden administration. he overstayed his visa. mohamed sabry soliman appearing in court soon accused of launching a targeted terror attack. firebombing peaceful demonstrators in boulder, colorado, using a makeshift flamethrower as they rallied in support of israeli hostages. the number of victims in yesterday's boulder attack has increased, it is now 12. thankfully no one has died for their injuries are terrible. according to the fbi the attacker shouted "free palestine." during the assault. >> you can't do nothing. i have no allegiance to any opinion this guy shared as it relates to israel. he has every right to express it but what he does not have the right to do is be violence. i would hope one of the things -- we talk a lot about ai, the good and bad of it. every time there's a school shooting or shooting were something violent, law enforcement is always able to look back and say there was a sign, there was something we saw on social media come i don't think things that president trump and his team are trying to do with probing the social media have some students wanted to come to america to find out if they are violent or if they have proclivities for things, we should use ai with law enforcement officials around the country. the most disappointing thing to me -- this was to see the local police and the fbi able to agree and what the act was. hopefully they can get better collaboration going forward but we should run a list of all of these people who are here illegally now, use ai as a tool to help us understand had they done things aligned with people,

is. when i hear governor walz and some democrats a lot of the democrats talking, it's on us like a figure nails scratching on chalkboard, not just the way they sound, but what they are saying. everyone has to take a step back in the party. i've shared before, we lost the race and there's frustration on top of frustration because we are watching president trump and there are things we believe we would be doing differently and things that irritate us if not altogether antagonize us but that happens in every presidential race when the party who doesn't win is watching from the outside to. the question is what do you do? we have to react less to trump and begin to spell out what it is we would do differently to make life more affordable for people. i'll give you one tangible example. artificial intelligence we talked about in the last segment of the inevitability of that gripping every aspect of our economy. not only could make it where people are losing jobs would also make the price of things go

up. why aren't we thinking about ways to prepare the workforce in the economy for the inevitability of that? to ensure we have whatever we may need -- more kids studying liberal arts because they are going to be machines that can do some of the math and science. trying to promote hard work and determination something you can't teach but we've got to figure out ways how we can make america better and better suited for what's coming go what we're doing is not working. it may make us feel good -- i've got to tell you the taco thing is kind of funny and i think democrats want to make a little have that should make a little have that but understand that can't be the focus and the fundamentals of any counter to president trump. he's popular because he's doing things. when people look at us they don't take us seriously. they have to be taken credibly on cultural issues and layout unreturned of agenda around making america more affordable again. that's where president trump is falling but nobody's listening.

it's better to be meaner, not smarter. be aware of that. also it's tough time for the party of thomas jefferson. in today's news roundup that we got this morning, losing candidates for the democratic tickets were given profiles in the national newspapers about their future political ambitions, yet their political stock continues to go down. tim walz himself said i was a terrible candidate. to me i'm like you just took yourself out of the race. but if you take out kamala harris and tim walz and you go to bernie sanders and aoc they get back to the whole thing of being meaner and growing a beard does not mean you actually have any good policy. i learned something today i didn't know. way back when the tea party first started speaker bain or his members to go there come a sit in the listen. it seems to me if democrats could find a way to do that maybe it's at the gym?

of people's lives. they listen to politicians like president trump, he sometimes talks about things that make you feel good but a lot of times i don't know how a lot of any of them, democrat and republican talk about impacts people's lives. what democrats have to understand is because government is so big people want to see it reformed to. just like in the private sector you read every day how ceos of big companies, small companies alike are having to make tough, hard decisions about laying people off about not investing in something going forward because there may be some economic uncertainty. this is not being critical of the tariffs i will do that later but whenever you have a moment where there's uncertainty people have to make tough choices. government keeps getting bigger and bigger. i think both parties are responsible for this but what president trump is getting the benefit of, he and elon musk are trying their hardest to bring some sanity to how we do things and explain to people why we do things. i'll give you an example why he's going to be criticized more in the coming weeks.

the weather services are predicting today we will have an above average storm season, hurricane season. president trump rightly said when he took office that fema needed to be reformed. he said he was going to end but i think he meant reforming and he said a few months ago he wanted to reform it. we now have 15% less staff than we had and even the leader of fema has leaked he said he doesn't know if we have a strategic plan in place to drill with the 13 storms the hurricanes will get this season. these are the kinds of things i would love to see mr. musk put that big brain around how do we make fema work better, how does it work with the money it has or if it needs more here's how it can be spent more effectively. don't criticize reforms, democrats, offer better ideas and better strategies to do it yourself. >> jesse: it is nice to know republicans are already going to be blamed for hurricane season.
