moments ago sirens were blaring overhead, now you can be back outside for your update. hi, mike. >> mike: just crawled out of the bomb shelters moments ago with another missile attack from iran. interceptions happened directly overhead here in central israel. reports is that direct impacts hit all over the country, far north of the country, city of haifa on the coast, that took a direct hit from a missile. we're checking out those reports. there are reports of missiles coming down in central israel in the tel aviv area. tel aviv was hit twice yesterday. another strike went into the area of beer sheva. beer sheva was hit at the hospital yesterday and took another hit from a missile this morning. israeli fighter jets have been active over iran today. israel says overnight they hit 35 targets. war planes are focused in west ernl aern and central florida

iran focusing on ballistic missiles. the director of iaea grossi said iran had not arrived at a bomb yet but did have enough nuclear material to make several bombs. they have not constructed the bomb. he did say despite warfare, path to prevent iran from getting a bomb is still diplomacy. >> i believe there is a way to take this danger or this concern out of the table in a negotiated way with a very robust, as i said, i've been in very good conversations with steve witkoff and with the iranians, as well. i believe there are ways in which we can make sure that iran does not get a nuclear weapon. >> mike: the video shows despite

israel attack. how does that square with what president trump said which is they have to surrender it all. >> good morning, thanks for having us all. it does not square, does not remotely square. first i heard of that statement, i don't see that statement being different from what they have been saying for weeks. they have had limits and violated and cheated on the limits for years and years. for iranians to say we want some limited amount of enrichment means they are heading down the same path and i think president trump will see that. he said zero enrichment and talked about unconditional surrender, does not sound like iranians are near that. i am confident negotiations will be done in the shadow of power because without that, to set up conditions where iranians know they could lose it all, without that risk and power being

federal appeals court issuing unanimous ruling in the president's favor. jeff paul has the details. >> looks like national guard will stay put here in los angeles, as long as president trump orders them here. all three judges ruling in favor of the president. trump was within authority to take control of the guard. decision came from a three-judge panel on ninth circuit court of appeals. previous court stated trump's actions were illegal citing damage to federal buildings and objects thrown at officers, the court believed trump administration showed enough proof it was able to send in national guard. >> national guard is not performing law enforcement activity, we are protecting

guard and now unanimous ruling from liberal ninth circuit saying trump was well within his right to take control of the california national guard. your reaction to the ruling? >> jonathan: huge win for president trump and his decision here. they agree with him on substance, he can use the national guard if rioters were interfering with his ability to erica out his executive mission, in his case the immigration laws. second, made a nod to deference to the president, this is his decision to make. it is different from what a lot of federal courts have been doing not recognizing deference to the executive branch. reaction from governor newsom is remarkable, this no kings nonsense, standard democratic talking point. what is important substantively, chief of police in los angeles

said before the national guard brought in, they were overwhelmed with the situation, this is not just president trump, this was seen on the ground by local law enforcement, this is a huge win for president trump, huge win for the citizens of los angeles and america and huge win for law enforcement they are able to carry out their duties and get the support of federal government when agitators, rioters and politicians are standing in the way. >> bill: the riots have largely cooled off and curfew lifted. another topic, we did a wild story yesterday. i went out with ice in los angeles and they arrested a convicted murderer from el salvador who happens to be a gang member. usually ice arrestees don't talk to us. this guy was talking to the camera saying ice can't deport me, i have a special form of protection called cat. listen to this.

school last month and i promised to take him wherever he wanted to go, we went to italy. i was born in raised in israel, he asked if we could stop in israel to see his uncle and grandfather. we got here about 12 hours before the idf first attacked iran and we have been here since t then. the next morning after that first attack we woke up to an e-mail that said our flights have been cancelled. we've been trying to get home since then and of course living through multiple missile attacks every single day. >> dana: have you spent much time in any of the shelters? >> yes, in fact, just about an hour ago my entire family was here celebrating my birthday which was this past week and we

got a couple of missile warnings in a row, we all huddled in the shelter, all 10 of us, but it has been a regular occurrence three or four times each day. it usually only lasts between half an hour to an hour. you hear a lot of explosions in the air, sometimes feel the ground shake when a missile gets through the interception system. >> dana: we're showing picture of debris you took a picture of near where you are. we have a minute left, what have you heard about how you can get back? if flights aren't leaving israel, what are your options? >> right now we are scheduled to cross the border to jordan on sunday and fly out of jordan through qatar.

if that happens, it will take about 45 hours to get from where we are right now to our home. we've been receiving e-mail from department of state saying there are some efforts to put tourists, not israelis, on flights so if our flight does not work out for some reason, hopefully we would have another way. all right. shiri, belated happy birthday to you, stay safe, keep in touch and hope you get home soon. cincinnati will be waiting for you with open arms. thank you so much. >> thank you.
