[chanting] [chanting] we begin with a fox news alert, americans are on high alert to the dangers posed as president trump meets with his team tonight. a new fox poll shows nearly 75% think iran is a real threat to the u.s. while almost four out of five americans are worried about iran getting a nuclear bomb the right to be concerned. iran is the number one state sponsor of terrorism. katie pavlich and joey jones and this is the "big weekend show".

karen has a long history of attacking the u.s. and 1979 they took over the u.s. embassy into iran link 52 u.s. citizens hostage for over 440 days. a few years later in 1983, iranian backed terrorist detonated a bomb at the u.s. embassy, killing 17 americans, the same year they also attacked the u.s. marine corps works in lebanon, killing hundreds of american service members, but it does not stop there. iran orchestrated the 1996 truck bombing the towers in saudi arabia. that left 19 u.s. air force members dead and 2020, a series of missiles that u.s. troops patient and iraq as retaliation for the death of iranian general soleimani. we wanted to see how they reacted so we hit the streets for this week's talk of the town. >> what's your reaction to what's happening? >> that's a big question, a loaded question.

the, number two, he said he prefers the, he wants a diplomatic solution. he doesn't want to see death and destruction and it's like every is to get the clear ambitions. iranians are doing so and someone hasn't given them information. biden is no longer in the white house and their either, the door in israel, the u.s. is not asking for talks. president trump is clear to talk with a radiant and try to make a solution, but they -- talks will have to be inspections anytime, anywhere and any place. >> it's great to see you, especially on this very serious occasion. you know the president well and his thinking when it comes to iran and these issues. he also know the american first movement well, can you talk about some of the intrigue we heard with accusations the

president may be getting involved there despite iran's long 35 year on americans in the middle east and elsewhere and how it plays into his broader doctrine? >> i think this has been overblown. two things, iran is not getting a nuclear weapon against us and israel and our allies and potentially millions of people. chanting with passion, death to america regime orders from don't believe that's most iranians but some supporters want to kill us and president trump is not going to let them the bomb, but number two, president trump is not going to go into a forever war. his top the capability submarine launched missiles b2 and 52 to eliminate a radiant nuclear program and stop the threat without putting marines on the
