THE GOOD NEWS: This is a worthy jungle survival adventure with good character development and a strong cast made up of some of RKO's best second-banana stars and character actors. The budget was low ($225,000) nevertheless the production values are adaquate for the story.
TRIVIA: The Aircraft was the Capelis XC-12, a failed airliner design RKO bought to use as a non-flying prop. It and or its model went on to appear in at least twenty more feature films including "The Flying Tigers" and "King of the Zombies," which is available here at IA.
THE BAD NEWS: Some nitwit squashed the aspect ratio of this trailer to make it appear "Five Came Back" is a widescreen film.
