Hanna-Barbera SoundFX Library is jam packed with more than 2,200 royalty
free sound effects - available on either 4 CDs or as a download. It
features all the great sounds that have become synonymous with legendary
cartoon shows like The Flintstones, Huckleberry Hound, Quick Draw
McGraw, Yogi Bear, The Jetsons, and all the rest of the cartoon sound
effects gang. The comprehensive comedy sounds collection also includes,
for the first time, Hanna-Barbera's top-ten list of the most popular
sounds used at their studio and a fascinating booklet containing
priceless behind the scenes interviews with cartoon pioneers William
Hanna and Joseph Barbera. Hanna-Barbera's team of editors and Sound
Ideas' engineers worked hand in hand to select only the very best
cartoon sound effects for this collection. All of the effects have been
digitally re-mastered with state-of-the-art noise reduction techniques
to make them cleaner and funnier, than ever before. Sound Ideas is proud
to be the exclusive distributor for the Hanna-Barbera SoundFX Library.

In response to an earlier comment: Just because someone has this library up as a paid purchase does NOT mean they are the rights holder. They could just be banking on people lazily ponying up for something likely in the public domain

Yeah it's REALLY annoying and it's a big issue with *all* the sound effect library uploads on here :/ apparently someone didn't get the memo that the sounds are distributed lossless for a reason... All you find on here are low quality mp3 versions for a the libraries... Anyone know of an actually better free source

Why lossy?
Why not upload these as lossless wav? it ruins the entire point of the CD,Witch is to have lossless archive of sound effects.
