Stolen jewels, repo men, gangsters, cops, a movie star, and coincidence are the stuff that make up this dizzy comedy. If you like James Dunn (
The Living Ghost,
Shadows Over Shanghai), you'll like this. He's playing himself, as usual. Some may remember him as the father in the 1945 production of
A Tree Grows in Brooklyn. The supporting cast includes good character actors, including Francis Gifford (
American Empire), Dave O'Brien (
Phantom of 42nd Street), and Guy Usher (
Doomed to Die), and give good performances.
I downloaded the 699MB MPEG4 file. Aside from some missing frames that affect dialog, and hiss throughout in the audio, this is a good copy.
