This book about human sexuality by Dr. Aziz Khattab is the basis of lectures on the same topic for medical students in Ain Shams University, Cairo. These lectures are optional and the students are never examined about it. For years the lectures have been given by the same professor.
This is the third edition published in 1999. I am not sure if there are any more recent editions.
The book discusses the anatomy, physiology and development of sexual organs. It also discusses the embryology and some psychoanalytic theories related to sex.
It criticises Female Genital Mutilation but criticises the 'West' for accepting homosexuality.
The book is certainly outdated now and may contain inaccuracies. It is only to learn what medical students in an Egyptian university are learning about such an important topic.
