abc 7's terry mcsweeney is live at the park with more. terry, this could be a real pitcher's dual. >> it could be one of the truly great classic matchups of all times. then again they could be both knocked out in the first inning. great thing about baseball. one great place to watch it is the viewing area. you don't get any chance to see fly balls but you can see home plate, first base, short and third and a little left field and right fielder is right in front of you. if you're looking for free seats -- not seats, standing area to the game tonight, you can come out here. with the players it's fantastic. especially sweet for some giants players. take a look at them working out at the ballpark. only been at it since february at spring training. they gotta be sharp by now. aubrey huff, one of the great stories, picked up in the offseason. pat burrell from the high school in san jose, the bay area's own.

today. she'll accompany nancy pelosi at a campaign fund-raising event at the fairmont hotel for senator barbara boxer. last night she gave a rousing speech in los angeles in support of senator boxer who's in a tight race with carly fiorina. the first lady was in san francisco monday for a similar campaign fund-raiser. republican senate candidate carly fiorina is in a southern california hospital being treated for an infection. it's related to the reconstructive surgery she had recovering from breast cancer. she was diagnosed early last year. doctors say the infection is common among breast cancer survivors. her chief of staff says she should resume campaigning by the ends of the week. senator boxer issued a statement wishing her arrival rival a speedy recovery.
