here at facebook but they are sharing it with the bay area. >> zuckerberg and his wife have decided to give $120 million to local public schools. the couple say they planned for a focus on children, education, and health. they say they are inspired by microsoft c.e.o. bill gates and his wife melinda and they want to use this opportunity they have been given to give back. they have been talking to school administrator and local leaders and figured out where there is an urgent need. here is how they have decided to give the first $5 million: going to public schools in san francisco, ravenswood which is east palo alto, and redwood city. they want the money to be spent on training principles, classroom technology, and helping students transition from 8 to 9th. education really is expensive and this donation is a drop in the bucket but it is the largest
allocation of their money yet. they have pledged to give $1.1 billion in facebook stock. this $120 million is given out over five years. major police activity in oak bland with officers setting up a search at 75th in bancroft looking for a suspect. we put in several calls to the oak lamb police who they are looking for but we have not heard back. we will continue to being would on store and bring you new details as they come into the newsroom but if you have seen the police activity, that is why. >> developing news, oakland school officials will give security officers more training after one of them was. whatted in an attack on a student in a wheelchair all caught on camera. surveillance video shows what happened at oakland high school may 19. the 23-year-old security guard

he wanted to do this. >> he was shot five times. she was the only one of the these girls to survive. elliot rodger killed six people and wounded 13 more before shooting himself. hundreds gathered to remember george chen one of three bay area students would last their lives. students and friends and teachers turned out for a vigil in san jose where chen graduated two years ago. his mother called for an end to the violence that took her son's life. the event ended with one of children's favorite songs "love and care for all." he visited friends david wang from san jose and james hong of fremont in an apartment they shared with elliot rodger. a memorial service for david want -- david wang is on sunday starting at 5:00 at harbor light

minutes. we have a few breaks if the track but it is still stacked up at maze. >> an oakland high school security guard is out of a job and in trouble with a law for boating a student confined to a wheelchair with cerebral palsy. our reporter is in the newsroom with more on the story. the former guard is out on bail and will face chances next month in the beating of that student. as you can see in the video the student is in a wheelchair, a freshman cerebral palsy. it happened on may 19, starting with two security officers urging several students to go to class. the student in the wheelchair refuses or wasn't moving fast enough, the 23-year-old security officer begins to push the student's wheelchair and the student slaps his hand so he
handcuffed him and wheel him until the student spits if his face. that is when mitchell starts punching the student and dumps him on the ground. >> we acknowledge that there was a small physical exchange prior to the security for flipping out and attacking the student. nothing that remotely could justify what occurred. the second guard intervened and restrained his partner. >> the principal is apologizing saying this is not reflective of the culture we cherish at our school or how we treat one another. the district says that mitchell was firsted the day it happened and is scheduled to be in court june 16. he will face felony charges inflicting corporal injury to a child. plan are set this weekend for the funeral of one of the three bay area victims of the isla vista. a south bay high school came
