not. it's just sitting there at the new jersey facility. >> yates shared her tracking with seven on your side, which showed the shipment went from oakland to lathrop, california, back to oakland, then louisville, kentucky, before landing in secaucus, new jersey. >> so i called again, and they the person i got said it was damaged and destroyed. i felt they should have contacted me before destroying documents that are damaged. so i basically didn't believe them. >> last month, seven on your side reported on a lost guitar shipped via ups. ups gave the shipper several different explanations as to why the item was missing, including that the package was damaged beyond repair and all contents were destroyed and discarded. but then the guitar turned up for sale on a guitar center website. >> i just had an intuition that the guitar was stolen and that it wasn't damaged and destroyed. >> after that report aired, two more viewers got in touch with seven on your side. mike lamarca was shipping a one of a kind motorcycle supercharger, and pam daniels was shipping an original painting by artist june chen

welcome back. here is a live look from our emeryville camera. what a beautiful shot outside this morning as we're getting our saturday off to a great start. all right. some muni riders in san francisco have fewer options starting today. unfortunately, the san francisco municipal transportation agency is cutting service along five bus lines, consolidating two of them and ending the other three routes along market street. officials say the cuts will save about $7 million, but the agency is still facing a deficit of around $50 million this fiscal year and $322 million in the next. so more service reductions could be on the way.
6:14 am
>> with that. looks like are could be lines being suspended. huge reductions in service frequencies meaning the bus isn't arriving as often. and when it does arrive, we could see bigger crowds leading to riders being passed up. >> in order to address that problem, state senator scott wiener is calling on voters to pass a regional sales tax measure to help fund local transit. if the measure is passed, the sales tax would raise about $500 million a year. other bay area transit agencies are also dealing with budget challenges. bart will avoid service cuts for one more year after the board decided to use its remaining $318 million in emergency funds to help cover the cost of running train service. caltrain will also maintain its existing service levels, but made nearly $11 million in cuts, and vta faces a projected $72 million shortfall next year. well, the aids
