((vanessa murphy)) cliven bundy in this letter is basically telling the sheriff to get out of the way.... last week - we heard from cliven bundy's sons telling supporters like militia members to back down... but now cliven bundy is saying the opposite. however - when i called him tonight - a woman who says she's his daughter told me he's only taking calls from militia members right now. ((dave courvoisier)) > iowans cast their first votes in the 20- 16 presidential election in iowa tonight... producing tight races for both the democrats and republicans... with senator ted cruz declaring victory in the g-o-p race. polling showed cruz and businessman donald trump virtually neck-and-neck in the weeks leading up to the caucus... but cruz came out on top by four-points over trump. with a majority of precincts reporting... cruz claimed 28-percent of the republican vote... good for six delegates. trump finished second with 24- percent... earning five delegates... and senator marco rubio ecstatic with his third place finish. he nearly caught trump with 23-percent, also worth five delegates. doctor ben carson earned one delegate with 9-percent of the vote. the candidates thanked iowa voters for their support: (( cruz: "iowa has sent notice. that the republican nominee and the next president of the united states will not be chosen by the media." investigators aren't sure at this time which vehicle was going the wrong way: (( trooper chelsea stuenkel/nhp: "this is an extremely tragic crash. two people lost their lives. two people aren't coming home tonight. and this section of roadway is under construction. we can't urge people enough to slow down out here. extremely dangerous at high speeds. again if your distracted, impaired, combined with those speeds, you lose control of your vehicle. things like this tragic crash result from that." )) ((dave courvoisier)) that area of 215 near aliante is an ongoing construction zone. trooper chelsea stuenkel said she believes the current speed limit is 45. it's not clear how fast the cars were going when they collided... or how one vehicle ended up going the wrong way. the ages of the victims are unknown at this time. n-h-p shut down the highway for several hours for the investigation./// ((dave courvoisier)) > a grand canyon tour bus went up in flames on u-s 95 this afternoon. the c-h destination bus was returning from arizona when smoke began coming from the back of the bus around 3:30. the driver pulled over and the

henderson firefighters responded and knocked out the blaze... which was contained to the back. there were no injuries to the 29 passengers or the bus driver. they were loaded onto another bus and returned to las vegas. no word yet on what caused the fire or when the bus can be moved./// ((denise valdez)) > henderson police are investigating its second homicide of 20- 16. a 25-year-old man was found dead from a gunshot wound in the villas at green valley on green valley parkway near warm springs just before 1:30 this afternoon. police have not released a suspect description at this time and the motive is not known. at this time... a suspect remains on the loose: (( vanessa murphy: "any cause for concern for residents in the area?" michelle french: "at this point we are actively pursuing all leads and we are looking into every lead that we get." )) ((denise valdez)) the victim's identity will be released by the coroner's office. if you have any information you can call the henderson police department or remain anonymous when you call crime stoppers.
