((patrick walker)) > bill cosby appeared in a pennsylvania court today. attorneys for the comedian asked a judge to throw out the only charges filed against him for sexually assaulting a woman despite dozens of accusations over the decades. brian webb reports from new york. bill cosby was led into the montgomery county courthouse for a hearing on the sexual assault case against him. attorneys for the 78-year-old comedian asked a judge to throw out a charge of aggravated indecent assault.

is accused of drugging and sexually assaulting former temple university employee 2004. his attorneys say constand was a willing participant. she settled a civil cast against cosby in 2006 for an undisclosed sum. cosby's attorneys say his deposition in that case was made after an agreement with then-district attorney bruce castor, that the former tv star not be prosecuted. in recent months, more than 50 women have made similar claims against cosby - some dating back decades. but this is the first time he's been charged.cosby's attorney called the case political payback from the new d-a who reopened the case last year. ((brittany)) hi patrick... dozens of kids gathered this morning to guess when mojave max will make his move. it's all part of an annual contest sponsered by clark county and its partners. when max wakes up from his winter nap and wanders out of his burrow, it signals the start of the spring season. and clark county students are getting in on the fun by trying to predict the exact time max will emerge at the red rock national conservation area. but it still feels like winter here in the desert. cold temps still hanging on at noon.... after dipping into the 20s this morning. at least we have the nice sunshine. .............. cold, dry air is still in place and it will take the rest of the week to warm up to normal and get the nights thawed out again. ..................... temps were super cold this morning with hard freeze warnings in place for some areas... but not for the vegas valley. were were cold though - below freezing. ............. normal highs should be about 60
