((kirsten joyce)) and i'm kirsten joyce. f-b-i agents surrounded the malheur national wildlife refuge wednesday... as they continued negotiations with the 4 remaining occupiers. all of this recent activity started yesterday afternoon when one of the occupants decided to get on an atv heading towards a checkpoint, but then suddenly turned around at a high rate of speed... heading back into the refuge . fiore says she wants to find a peaceful resolution to the standoff. our sister station in portland caught up with her at the airport.. as she spoke to the occupiers on the phone.
