((kirsten joyce)) a justice of the peace determined the 79- year- old died from natural causes.. he passed away during a hunting trip in texas over the weekend.

scalia for the high court in 1986, and scalia was one of the staunchest conservative members. a debate is now waging on capitol hill... over whether president obama should nominate the next justice. senate majority leader mitch mcconnell says it should be the next president's choice... while.. minority leader harry reid says it's president obama's constitutional right. the president says he has every intention of choosing a nominee after the senate break.. which ends february 22nd./// brian loftus > democrats hillary clinton and bernie sanders weighed in on the controversy.... both say mitch mcconnell is wrong... and should follow the constitution. together and demand it. )) hillary clinton was the first in town. the presidential hopeful made comments saturday morning at a rally for hundreds of union workers in henderson. clinton amped up the crowd talking about more jobs, better wages and healthcare benefits. during her 25- minute speech... she also took multiple jabs at the republican party... accusing them of causing the economic crisis in 2008, which greatly affected nevada: ((hillary clinton // (d) presidential candidate: i am absolutely committed to making sure that we never have the mess we had in 2008 again. this state, this state was especially hard hit. too many lost their jobs, too many people lost their homes. i don't think president obama gets the credit he deserves to digging us out of the ditch that in the first place.

((michael stevens)) republicans weren't the only ones on clinton's radar... her opponent bernie sanders took some jabs as well. clinton described his health care plan as a theory that would lead to enormous tax hikes. she also suggested his platform of breaking up big banks will do nothing to advance other causes, including gay rights and immigrant rights. democrats are set to choose between clinton and sanders at caucuses this saturday. she's hoping for a win among nevada's more diverse electorate after a narrow win in iowa and a loss in new hampshire. coming up in our next half hour... we'll take a closer look into bernie sanders visit... and how he plans to drum up support ahead of next week. brian, kirsten? this weekend, people in las vegas broke out the green and gold! (( we are known all over the world as the entertainment capital of the world.. but after today, we are gonna be known as the leprechaun capital of the world! cheers )) ((brian loftus)) hundreds of leprechauns turned out for saint baldrick's lepre-con 5k and walk at town square on saturday. they broke the world record for the largest gathering of leprechauns... there were more than 14- hundred of them! the event raised money for childhood cancer research./// ((demetria obilor)) > everyone man in spain.. so get this.. plant.. and has since retired. when the company tried to give him a long service award .... they realized he played hookie for at least 6 years! the man said he was bullied on the job.. and was moved to a post where there was no work to do. the equivalent to a year's salary...
