((patranya bhoolsuwan)) > good morning and thanks for joining us. i'm patranya bhoolsuwan. a bicyclist is dead after an early morning crash. it happened on saint rose parkway near i- 15 at around 1- 30. n-h-p says an off road vehicle and a 59-year- old bicyclist crashed... the bicyclist was killed on scene... the 28-year-old off road driver was taken to the hospital with non life threatening injuries. n-h-p says the bicyclist was wearing a vest and had lights on his bike... but they say that's not enough to keep you completely safe: (( trooper chelsea steunkel, nhp: it is dark out here. we want to remind our pedestrians and bicyclists to be as visible as possible for these drivers. unfortunately he was struck by

didn't belong on our roadway here. a tragic event.)) n-h-p says that driver is being investigated for driving under the influence./// ((patranya bhoolsuwan)) > a pedestrian is in critical condition and may need amputation... after a crash early this morning. it happened at charleston and maryland parkway just after two. police say a pedestrian was crossing outside of a crosswalk when they were hit by a driver. that driver took off...but a witness followed the suspect's vehicle. he says there's no way the driver wouldn't have been aware of the crash: (( sgt. richard strader, lvmpd: the windshield's mashed up, there's damage to the car, and its all on the drivers side. so there's no reason for him to think he didn't hit something.)) the pedestrian was taken to u-m-c ... the driver is accused of driving under the influence. the area was also shut down during the investigation./// ((patranya bhoolsuwan)) > metro police are investigating after a dead body was found at the d

at hundreds of caucus sites all over the valley and the state. not only did clinton come in first...but it's considered a big victory to overcome bernie sanders's surge in popularity. clinton spoke to her supporters at a rally yesterday: ((-clinton: it can't be just about what we're going to give to you, it has to be about what we're going to build together. washington is never going to have all the answers but for every problem we face, somewhere someone in america is solving it.) entrance polls found clinton had big support from women, union workers, minorities, and voters who think she would have a better shot than sanders... in winning the election in november./// ((patranya bhoolsuwan)) > sanders came in a close second...with 47 percent. after the results came in, sanders congratulated clinton on her victory. but he says this race is not over yet... his eyes are on super tuesday...which comes on march 1st:

winds over most areas. expect winds to increase into the 15-25 mph range sunday. the models indicate the ridge strengthening monday off the west coast with a piece of energy diving southeast along the front side of the ridge. this energy is expected to remain far enough north and east of the area as is pushes through monday...but we could see a few lower clouds across lincoln county...but most areas will continue to see periods of high clouds. the main concern with this feature will be an increase in north to northeast winds monday
