((michael stevens)) >> brian, kirsten... you've probably seen the videos already... police arrested rahami yesterday afternoon... after a tip. now a massive investigation extends from new york to three cities in new jersey. ((michael stevens)) with the suspect in the bomb attacks in new york city and seaside park, new jersey, now in custody ... new questions emerge. authorities say they want to know ahmad khan rahami's motive ... and whether he was working alone. the 28-year-old wa n-y-p-d and f-b-i asked the public for help in finding him. rahami was detained just a few hours later, when a bar owner in linden new jersey spotted him and alerted authorities. ((harinder bains // bar owner: "i saw his face, when he moved his hoodie. it, like, kind of shocked me because i was watching cnn on my laptop and you guys have his picture on site, like, on a site. i said this guy looked similar, like, very familiar, to the same guy.")) the confrontation with authorities. rahami walks towards police pointing a weapon and then ... gunfire. the bar owner who first spotted rahami ... a witness to the dramatic scene. ((harinder bains // bar owner: "after that the whole thing took maybe 30 seconds, once went towards door whole thing happened so fast, because right away he went to his gun.// i was shaking a little, when cop pulled out his gun, at that point in time i realized, ok this is the guy.")) ((michael stevens)) naturalized u-s citizen from afghanistan -- is "directly linked" to the bombings. he's believed to be seen on surveillance cameras near the chelsea bombing site saturday night. saturday's explosion left 29 people injured. all have been released from the hospital. ((michael stevens)) >> so far, he's been charged with five counts of attempted murder of a police officer. he is being held on $5.2 million bail and remains at a hospital.

the two...then shot them. this happened near the sixth floor parking garage. a very active scene here last night as first responders helped the victims. flights weren't affected but the parking garage ...closed for several hours during the investigation. the airport connector also shut down briefly. street light off oso blanca road aren't working. we really need to have this fixed asap!" i reached out to the city of las vegas on your behalf, susan. city staff were dispatched to inspect the street lights at gilcrease and oso blanca. on the south side of the street, the street lights are working. it's the north side of gilcrease, west of oso blanca where the problem lies. those are not maintained by the city of las vegas. the city says those lights are privately owned by the developers who are working on the property next to them.
