say officers shot and killed him while he was reading a book inside his car tuesday... police maintain scott had a gun. the shooting occurred outside scott's apartment complex. officers were looking for a suspect with an outstanding warrant when they encountered scott coming out of his car. police later determined he was not the man they were looking for.
