rudy giuliani will be in las vegas this morning stumping for donald trump. he'll be speaking at a rally happening at trump's nevada election headquarters at 9 a-m. we're going to have live coverage of the rally here on channel 8....starting at 4:30 p-m/// ((nia wong)) polls show presidential candidates hillary clinton and donald trump are closer than ever. and both parties were pushing hard at their rallies this weekend. mark albert is at the white house with more. secret service agents quickly sh stage in reno, nevada saturday night after someone yelled "gun" while a protestor approached the stage. (nats) a man was quickly taken into custody and escorted out of the building but no weapon was found and the protestor was released. (austyn crites/protestor) "somebody yelled something about a gun. and so that's where things really got out of hand. people just started kicking me, grabbing my arms, twisting them. finally, i'm very thankful for the law enforcement who was able to quickly come."

((nia wong)) the search is on for two people metro believes killed a man over drugs. they say the victim was found dead from an apparent gunshot wound. it happened yesterday at a home near twain and torrey pines. while patrol officers investigated inside....they found different types of drug paraphernalia. they say it doesn't look like anyone forced theiw according to metro....the victim's girlfriend and a roommate were at the home during the shooting./// ((nia wong)) police are also investigating a deadly shooting from friday night. they say a man was killed after being shot several times near nellis air force base. police believe the victim was involved in a fight with 3 other suspects in the street before shots were fired. he was taken to u-m-c where he later died. no suspects have been arrested./// ((nia wong))
