((brian loftus)) >> i'm brian loftus. a man is fighting for his life this morning after crashing his motorcycle to the back of a car. 8 news now reporter is at the scene of the inicdent with the latest on the story. driver is struggling to survive...another in jail, suspected of drinking and a third driver has fled the scene. it happened here behind me just after midnight. >> this portion of sahara from arden to marion is still closed off as they continue their investigation. police say a white corvette and a 2005 kawasaki motorl they believe the white corvette was in the left lane, while the 2005 kawasaki motorcycle was in the right. when the yaris pulled out from a stop sign, investigators say it was the motorcyclist who ended up crashing into the vehicle. we're told the motorcyclist is fighting for his life this morning. as for the driver of the yaris....police suspect he had been drinking and he is now in jail where they are checking his blood alcohol level. there was one more passenger in the yaris who claims to be hurt in his upper body. based on their investigation so far....they say this looks like a right of way violation on the yaris...but the speed of the motorcyclist could play a factor as well. but while police were helping the people hurt here off
