>> thanks a lot, raj. well, new tonight at 11:00, survivors of san bruno after that deadly fire ripped their homes and their lives apart. they're trying to rebuild their lives, but there is one thing they're demanding before they take the first step. george is live with their emotional story tonight. george? >> reporter: we're standing not far from where their home used to be, from the pipeline explosion in early september. the palegrinis are trying to move forward with their lives thechlt join four other families in a lawsuit against p grg and and they say they want pg&e to pay. >> it's a roof over our herds, but it's not our house. we have furniture we sit on, but it's not our furniture. >> the place they called home for more than 35 years was lost

when the pipeline exploded. >> we lost nearly everything, but we were fortunate to get out with our lives. >> the one thing they want is for pg&e to remove the pipeline before they ever rebuild their cre crestmoor neighborhood home. >> i never felt a fear like that in my entire life and i hope to never again. that's one of the reasons why removing that line is so vital and important to me and my neighbors. >> palegrinis' attorney filed a 40-page report. it blasts pg&e and asks the company to compensate the families for physical and emotional injuries. >> how could you conceivably ask people to invest their lives and money to rebuilding when you haven't told them why it went wrong in the first place and you can't guarantee it won't happen again? >> for the palegrinis, it isn't about the money.
