you know, it's days like today we should all be grateful that trump can't tweet. guys, there's only 36 hours left in trump's presidency [ laughter and applause you think you're excited every ten minutes a white house staffer yells, how much time is left it's like "the great british bake-off." "you have 36 hours left. yep, just 36 hours left. you can tell time is running out because trump is now signing pardons with both hands. "next. next next." with trump, 36 hours still seems like a long time right? it's like if someone said, you're only going to be on fire for 36 more hours. that's a long time you're only going to be in this mri tube for another 36 hours. try not to move. i was like, i broke my arm >> tariq: i know >> jimmy: painful.

normally after a president's term they show before and after photos to prove how much the job aged him this time they're showing before and after photos of all of us. you can try as much as you want during his last hours in office, trump is planning to issue pardons. but it's reported it's not going to be a pardon to himself or his family members. trump is the only president in history who decides not to pardon himself and you immediately think, what's he up to i'm not surprised trump didn't pardon himself today because then he would be liable for whatever he does tomorrow. trump won't pardon his family either actually it's kind of sweet. trump told his kids, "when i go down for tax fraud, i want you all to be in prison with me. sweet, right [ applause ] i'm kidding. the kids took it in stride they were like, "hey, no problem dad. if you need us, we'll be living in switzerland for the next 60 years." some impeachment news. over the weekend, rudy giuliani said that he won't be working on trump's impeachment defense because he is a witness. when he heard that, trump was like, "wow, i might actually win this thing." yep, rudy is now calling him a a witness while the fbi is still calling him a suspect. tomatoes, tomatoes when they heard rudy won't be there, the senate cleaning staff rolled out the plastic tarp they had put under the podium [ light laughter ] yep, trump's completely out of lawyers. next month he'll be defended by a hologram of matlock. that was my favorite of the monologue. that's my favorite i'm going to start calling them out. that was my jam. matlock hologram listen to this, over the weekend biden's team said that on a day one, biden will issue several executive orders to reverse a bunch of trump's most controversial policies yep, biden is undoing everything trump did which is basically undoing all the stuff obama did. so in the end, we're going to party like it's 2009 [ applause ] yep, biden will undo every single thing trump did over the

last four years. trump's like, "five minutes of work, right down the tubers. that's right, biden's undoing the travel ban, rejoining the paris climate agreement and issuing a mask mandate it's not a to-do list, it's an i can't believe i have to do this list. let's change gears a little. i saw that nestle is recalling more than 762,000 pounds of pepperoni hot pockets over concerns that they may have pieces of glass or plastic inside them. right now customers are like, pepperoni hot pockets filled with glass and plastic or spinach artichoke lean pocket. [ light laughter ] i mean, how much glass and plastic could it be, right this pretty much sums up these crazy times. you survive covid but then you're killed by a hot pocket. and finally, over the weekend, in the uk, police shut down

a house party for breaking covid rules but the guests claim that they were unaware of the global pandemic as they never watch the news uk police were like, either way, you need to shut down the party, your majesty. we have a great show give it up for the roots, everybody. >> jimmy, it was crazy i've been to times square a million times, but to be there with no fans on new year's, it seems like the last couple of years you have millions of people out there and hopefully, god willing, in the future we have millions of people but jennifer killed it it was awesome but jennifer did have a great slide. i thought that was my job. >> jimmy: yeah, i'm used to seeing you sliding, yeah she had one of the best slides whatever she does, she does it the best i just saw you guys are headed off to washington. she's going to be performing at the inauguration >> jimmy, it's been such a a crazy year for her i mean, so amazing so many blessings. but to think in the span of 12 months, she's done the super bowl, new year's, now the inaugural. it's unbelievable. and what's interesting is she's most nervous about washington, d.c. because of the responsibility and she wants more than anything like all of us to bring people together, to inspire.

and, you know, music and sports does that better than anything and she has something really cool you're going to be surprised, you're going to love it. >> jimmy: really because she always does -- all right, good. i don't want to know, this is going to be so good. 2021, do you think you guys are finally going to get married what do you think? >> we tried twice in 2020. we got bit twice by covid-19 you know, they say in baseball, third time's the charm so let's - >> jimmy: there we go. all right, good. i want to talk about the new season of baseball what can you tell us about the upcoming season? >> i'm excited, we're supposed to start opening day, april 1st. baseball and sports, we need it so much. we saw football this weekend, it's so much fun but again music and sports bring people together more than anything around the globe. commissioner manford just said he expects a full season not sure what the fan situation will be. but the yankees are on fire, mets are on fire it's going to be an awesome year and i can't wait for 162, a full season.

>> jimmy: people like seeing you. that's why i like seeing you on "shark tank," because you know what you're talking about. you've built a giant business empire have you always been in business or is this a thing post-sports? >> yeah, ever since i was 10 years old, i've had two big kind of goals. i call them the two b's, right baseball and business. i wanted to be like my father, an entrepreneur. he also loved baseball and i've studied it for a long time we're lucky we have an credible team, we've done some awesome things in 2020 through a very, very difficult time. we've given tons back to the community. but we're happy we're taking a a public company, hims and hers, one of the great telemedicine companies we have going public we're taking another one public later in the year. it's been a very active, busy year we've been growing a lot, and excited to do more and give back more. >> jimmy: why do you like doing "shark tank" >> i like it for several reasons.

number one, i feel like on friday nights, america is getting their mba in business. that's number one. number two, it's done a lot of social good. it's deployed over $100 million, over 25,000 jobs. my daughters, natasha and ella, ever since they were little, little, little girls, i always used to make them pitch to us and tell us about their business ideas >> jimmy: all right, i'm trying to think of any ideas i can pitch you, because i always try to pitch you ideas i have one for a silent glass. so if you're having a cocktail, i don't want to hear the ice clink around, you know all right. that's one idea. but i don't know how you do it or if anyone needs it, but hey, i like options i don't think i have any bad ideas. i have an idea for oreo. i think oreo should come out with cookie dough in the middle instead of the creme filling >> okay. you're getting warmer. >> jimmy: okay all right. i'm trying -- oh, then i thought of another cookie idea
