morning, phillip this morning lawmakers are expected to hear first hand about the impacts of gun violence the house oversight committee is set to hear testimony from the mother of a buffalo shooting victim as well as a pediatrician from uvalde, and from parent whose lost their children. now in addition, a fourth grade uvalde student is expected to describe covering herself in blood in order to play dead during that massacre during his powerful remarks, actor matthew mcconaughey shared the stories of many of the victims. he even brought with him replica converse sneakers worn by one of the victims. >> she wore green high top converse with a heart, these are the same green converse on her feet that turned out to be the only clear evidence that could identify her after the shooting. how about that
