richmond-san rafael bridge after a chaotic evening commute. i'm just coming back from work and i've been sitting in traffic for about 45 minutes. we are there live with the issue, which caused the bridge to shut down for emergency repairs, and what crews are saying about the bridge's integrity. plus, the trade war between the u.s. and china escalates overnight. the new accusations being made as president trump gets ready to for a high stakes meeting with the leader of china. and a different kind of stake. food truck showdown in the south bay. new regulations that some vendors say are forcing them out. this is today in the bay. thanks for joining us this tuesday morning i'm kris sanchez. i'm in for laura garcia and i'm marcus washington. we'll get a look at that forecast for you in just a moment. but mike has been following a deadly crash this morning. it happened just after 230 this morning. so shut down all eastbound 580. let me show you some video. after the fire was put out for this

semi truck, just one of the three semis that were involved in the crash, along with a motorcycle and a few other passenger vehicles. sadly, someone died as a result of this crash. the fire, it sounds like, did not necessarily seriously hurt the person driving that truck. but we're still waiting. we're still examining this report and getting more detail. the live look shows you the freeway has reopened, but traffic is starting to jam up once again as they need some absorbent. there's about 500 foot strip of oil on the roadway, and they have to absorb that from the right lanes before they can clear that. i don't know if there are any other vehicles remaining to be cleared. all i know is that they have work going on, blocking about half of the freeway heading eastbound about el charro. that is a distraction for the commute, but not really enough to cause a slowdown. here's the slowdown. counter commute unusual as you're passing el charro and getting over toward area. we just saw it build a bit over there, heading toward the altamont pass. the rest of everything else is looking pretty good and pretty clear. a little bit slowing on the nimitz, but kari, that's not a surprise for the nimitz. right. and as we get a look at

our morning start across the bay area, here's four of our microclimates. temperatures are in the mid 50s. we have a light wind and our usual morning clouds rolling in that will quickly clear out as we head through late morning. our temperatures back to what we saw yesterday up to 80 in fremont, as well as dublin and 85 in fairfield. napa today 80 degrees really comfortably warm and seasonable weather that extends at least through the middle of the week. and we'll take a look ahead to the weekend and our microclimate forecast that's coming up in a few minutes. back to you. thank you kari. well, this morning the richmond san rafael bridge is up and running again after it was shut down for emergency repairs. take a look here at the commute. things moving smoothly. that's where today in the bay's ginger conejero saab is right now. and ginger. any concerns remaining after those repairs? well, chris, caltrans says that crews were able to fix the issue yesterday. it did take most of the day it went into the evening commute, impacting a lot of

commuters. but that issue is now resolved. now let me show you what that issue was that caud all of this. there was cmbled concrete on the upper deck of the richmond san rafael bridge. it was discovered during yesterdas commute. caltrans quick to close almost all lanes for the emergency repairs, which included cutting a rectangle around the damaged area and replacing it with the rebar and concrete. the closures lasted most of the day and into the evening hours this morning. caltrans says it is safe to use the bridge. the bridge is structurally safe. there was a major seismic retrofit done to all of our large scale toll bridges in the 90s and the early 2000, and the richmond san rafael bridge was one of the bridges that that benefited from that. well, caltrans adds, commuters should feel safe. the richmond san rafael bridge complies with federally mandated

inspections every two years, they say spalling, which is what that crumpled concrete is called, is part of wear and tear. now back out here, we can see that that commute is back to normal. you can see the lights coming into the marin side with the tail lights heading out. and so that's good news for people here this morning. as opposed to other freeways around the bay area. we're live near the san rafael, richmond, richmond, san rafael bridge. ginger conejero saab today in the bay. i mean, it might be normal, but if it's coming down in front of your eyes. boy, that's got to be unnerving. thanks, ginger. it is. yeah. well, happening today. the grandfather of an east bay toddler who accidentally shot and killed himself is due in court. jamal edwards faces charges including criminal storage of a firearm and child cruelty. the toddler was living part time with his grandparents in antioch. that's where investigators say that toddler found a gun accidentally shooting himself back in april. today, edwards is scheduled to be arraigned. an east bay family

is pleading for help after ice agents detained their loved one at an immigration court hearing. it happened last tuesday at the san francisco courthouse. that's when mexico native miguel angel lopez lujan appeared for a routine appointment. his wife and his daughter say that he is a in a private detention center in kern county, and they're hoping he'll hear this message. just be patient. we're going to try to do everything we can. we have a lot of support from family, friends and strangers, which we really appreciate. relatives say he has been in the u.s. for 27 years and is a father of three, as well as a grandfather. he lives and works in livermore. when we asked ice about his detention, the agency only said it was looking into the case and would get back to us. well, this morning president trump is pressing forward with his economic agenda. want to give you a live look over at the futures, where the opening bell should start in about 25

minutes. okay, so the white house this morning says that the president plans to speak with his chinese counterpart when it comes to tariffs today in the bay's alice barr. joining us live from washington this morning alice, the economic developments come as the senate begins the debate over trump's budget bill. but some republicans there taking some issue with the potential impact on the deficit. yeah, marcus, we're tracking some uncertainty. that's clear both in the international picture with new developments in president trump's global trade war and domestically, as senate republicans look to win over skeptics among their own ranks on the president's big budget bill. tariff talks back in the spotlight this morning with reigniting tensions between the u.s. and china, threatening to derail trade negotiations, each side accusing the other of violating terms that led them to temporarily scale back steep tariffs. administration officials have said president trump and china's leader have to directly engage to get back on

track. i can confirmrm that the two leaders will likely talk this week that as higher steel and aluminu tariffs, that president doubled to 50% are set to take effect tomorrow, which will even further secure the steel industry in the united states. the european union says it's preparing countermeasures. small businesses watching the shifting picture warily. american businesses are paying these tariffs. i just know that we have nine people. and if we don't get some relief soon, these tariffs we're going to have three people. it all comes as the senate this week takes up president trump's massive budget bill, with the goal of getting the final bill to the president before the 4th of july. it already passed through the house, but several republican senators have voiced concerns over the projected increase to the deficit from extending major tax cuts and increasing defense and immigration spending,

arguing there aren't enough spending cuts. i would be very surprised if the bill, at least is not modified in a good direction. even as protesters rallied against what the bill does, slash to medicaid and food assistance programs. and with that july 4th deadline in mind to fully pass the big budget bill, house speaker mike johnson is urging senate republicans to make as few changes as possible, because any adjustments will then need to be kicked back over to the house for approval. marcus timeline. we will be waiting alice barr for us this morning in washington. thank you alice. gilroy city leaders are giving the green light to a pilot program aimed at regulating food trucks, especially in the city's downtown area. the food trucks are right now only allowed in designated areas with regulated hours of operation. last month, the city decided to ramp up enforcement of existing food truck ordinances, which includes a requirement that they have a

gilroy business license and move every ten minutes at least 100ft. many food trucks left the area as a result. the decision came after some local businesses complained that the trucks were stealing their customers. it's interesting every ten minutes to move. i mean, i've seen them park and they like drop down anchor almost. exactly. that's what i'm saying. it's very interesting. all right, let's take a live look out in san francisco for you this morning. meteorologist kari hall is tracking that forecast across the bay area. how are we looking, karian jose looking good this morning, too. yeah, that's a beautiful shot of san francisco. you can seeee a littl bit of the clouds. and we're also seeing a lot of sunshine in san jose as you're getting up and heading out the door. we're in the mid 50s right now. we'll be headed for the low 60s at 9:00. and throughout the day, a gradual warm up, comfortably warm temperatures. and we're seeing basically a repeat of yesterday. our high today makes it up to 82 in livermore, 85 in fairfield and in napa. today we can expect a high of 80 degrees, while oakland will be in the low 70s and upper 60s in san

francisco. and we'll see more of this throughout the middle of the week. so we'll talk about that in a few minutes. here's a look at the gas prices. mike, where are we seeing a little bit better deals. well, we're going to start in alameda county like we did yesterday with one of the best but a different city. the best in the bay i'm talking about today is 419 again. but today we're talking about san leandro at the valero on hay street for this top number right here. now to the south bay, san jose. the low there in san jose is 421 at arco on branham lane in the middle. and here in san francisco, the last price we list their best is 445 at national petroleum on cesar chavez street. go to gasbuddy.com. you may see some prices coming down a few cents in your area. i hope you do. on the roadway, we're looking at a pretty smooth start. friday. doesn't seem to have this tuesday are looking ahead to tuesday not seeing as much traffic volume as we often see on a tuesday. we have some slowing to be expected out of the altamont pass and down from contra costa county and the vasco road there. unexpected

cut its forecast for the us economy because of the effects of us tariffs. smaller net immigration, also a problem, say economists. it's downgrading the expectations of the world's economy as well. more or less the same news from the institute for supply management. it took a look at u.s. factory output and said, despite the fact that tariffs are supposed to protect american manufacturing, it did the opposite. u.s. manufacturing contracted for the third straight month. economists say that's a sign of shortages. you can manufacture things in america, but oftentimes you're using materials from overseas. the trump administration has paused a plan to garnish social security checks sent to people who are behind on their student loans. the consumer financial protection bureau says there are nearly a half a million americans aged 62 or older who are still paying and are behind on their student loan payments. the government will still take money away from tax refunds in

your paycheck for people who are in default. you may have heard tech companies are worried about getting enough electricity to run their ai server farms. bloomberg reports openai wants to build an electrical plant that would generate five gigawatts of power for one building. that's normally enough to power the city of miami. google says it's going to fund training for 100,000 electrical workers, 30,000 new apprentices, so they can help google build the future. a $10 million grant in all. that's really the goal with this, more than $10 million in funding to modernize and scale electrician training programs across the country by bringing advanced technologies like ai into curriculum and significantly increasing the pipeline of skilled workers. now, we've talked a lot about how artificial intelligence is costing jobs. leaders at the international brotherhood of electrical workers union points out. in this case, ai's creating

it so you can watch. not many people have apple devices. yeah. you're right. they're very obscure, rarely seen kari. i often use my device to get my weather forecast with our app with the nbc bay area. when i'm not right next to you bothering you like kari, what's it going to be like? yeah. you know, very useful. we've seen our cool mornings and mild afternoons and that continues today. so you really don't even have to open up the phone right now. it's basically a repeat of yesterday's weather. we're in the mid 50s as you're stepping out the door in palo alto and san jose as well san francisco, a light wind, a few clouds this morning, as we can see over the city right now. and then as we go toward late morning here, it starts to clear out. we'll see temperatures right at about 60 degrees at 10:00 and then headed for the mid 60s in the early afternoon. we'll only make it up to 68 for the high temperature today. a lot of these numbers are very close to what we should see for early june low 80s in

dublin as well as fremont, 80 degrees and 77 in martinez and 78 degrees in santa rosa. there's still some warm spots like clear lake and ukiah today, making it up to 90, while the coastal areas will stay in the 60s, that will continue tomorrow. not seeing any major changes as well as thursday. looking really nice. let's check out morgan hill. we're going to stretch out this forecast ten days because it's pretty quiet now. and we are seeing temperatures for the weekend going up just slightly. this is not triple digits. we're not seeing a major spike in temperatures. so it looks pretty nice here for the next week. and even beyond a look at the weekend forecast where we go from low 80s today to mid 80s this weekend. and our morning temperatures are about the same in san francisco. we're holding more steady here with highs in the upper 60s. mike. we usually see more traffic on tuesday. we do, but we usually see lighter traffic in the summer. so let's see how it's playing out for a standard picture over here we

as you pour that cup of coffee this morning, science says it may actually help you age

better. researchers with the nurses health study took a look at 47,000 women over the course of 30 years. they found that those who drank, on average, 1 to 3 cups of coffee per day stayed sharp, strong and mentally well aged. those long term benefits included reaching age 70 without 11 major chronic diseases. and while encouraging news for many. nbc news medical contributor doctor natalie azar says there are still some questions surrounding what you put into your coffee. some other studies have shown that you might offset some of the benefit if you're loading up with cream and loading up with sugar. so if you really look at the time, we're out of time. i hope my mom's watching too. so if you want to go with just black straight coffee, you're probably better off. it is important to note the study did not look at the impact coffee has on men, but as you know, one size does not fit all. so to find out who medical experts say should avoid caffeine altogether, tune in to

laura and i'm marcus washington. and before we get to fire preparations, i want to look at those conditions out there for us. meteorologist kari hall, of course, keeping an eye on where we stand right now. how is it looking, kari? well, we know that it's dry. we can just look at the hills and see that they're that bright yellowish, brownish color. and we actually have scientists that go out and take samples of the vegetation and measure how dry it is, if there's any moisture left, because we know that grasses, the brush and even the trees can be fuel for any fires that spark. so as we take a look at how dry it is and that threat of the fire risk is very high because of how dry the grass is, there's basically no moisture left. and so we're seeing that high and elevated risk as we take a look across the region. now is the time to make sure you have the defensible space. that's the area around your home where there is no very dry grass or brush. that could be a fire break. if we do see any fires approaching your home. you also

want to make sure that we're reducing the risk by not driving, driving on any dry grass, securing tow chain, and also using grills on paved surfaces. and you want to make sure that you always have that emergency plan. and if we do have a red flag warning, it's issued 12 to 24 hours in advance. we have lowow humidit along with high winds. thankfully, we are not seeing those conditions for now. temperatures a little bit lower, but we are also going to see more of this weather in the forecast. but always tracking the fire weather conditions back to you. thank you kari. well, over in the north bay, many people back at home. this is after a wildfire came dangerously close to their neighborhood. our team coverage continues with today in the bay's bob redell. he's live for us in the south bay now, bob. hey, they actually may see some smoke there today, but nothing to be alarmed about, right? correct. we're talking about the south san jose in the hills. we're outside the milpitas fire department. this fire agency,

along with cal fire and several other fire agencies doing today and tomorrow, prescribed vegetation burns. these are controlled wildfires for training between 8 a.m. 5 p.m. both days. so if you're out and about, you see that smoke from that general area. you don't need to call 911 up in fairfield. that was not a controlled burn. the one yesterday. the smoke and fire was not planned. it was around 330 yesterday afternoon, a wildfire broke out near vista grande and capitola whard. the fire was close enough to homes that a cal fire aircraft was called in to drop fire retardant. authorities issued a mandatory evacuation order for people living nearby as 25 mile an hour winds pushed that fire to burn just over 60 acres. the you know, when it started getting close, crested the hill. we said, okay, it's time to go. i always keep a backpack ready with everything. just essential, id, you know, cdit cards, anything we might need. these houses were right next to where the fire was burning and. and

yeah, it was a concentrated effort of both ground and air resources that were responsible for protecting these houses, making sure we didn't lose any structures. so no homes were burned up there. authorities have since lifted that mandatory evacuation order reporting live here in milpitas. bob redell today in the bay. all right. thank you very much, bob. and as you head out the door, a reminder for you, you can track that weather wherever you go. just scan the qr code right there on your screen. that way you're going to receive that personalized push alerts sent straight to your phone. we're also going to send out breaking news alerts if there is a fire in your neighborhood. ai vta front-line workers are voting on a new contract right now. they started voting at nearly all transit stations at 4:00 this morning. it's an offer that comes after that historic strike halted service all across santa clara county. you'll remember we reported on it for weeks. this proposed agreement includes a 14% raise over four years, better dental benefits, and

updated workplace policies. the vta workers union have been negotiating with the transit agency for nearly a year. the employees went back, went on strike back in march, stopping rail and light services countywide until a county judge ordered them back to work. san mateo county leaders have scheduled a special meeting for this thursday to take the next steps in their removal of embattled sheriff. voters back in march gave supervisors the power to fire sheriff christina corpus. she continues to deny allegations found in an independent audit. this is revealing harassment, bullying and retaliation. the board will vote on resolutions confirming her removal process and initiating the procedures. the actual removal process may take months. happening today, san jose leaders are expected to finalize more than $600,000 in settlements tied to san jose police response to chaotic protests five years ago. you might remember this was back in 2020. officers fired hundreds of

rounds of rubber bullets to disperse protesters who were protesting over the george floyd murder case. now, today's settlement will resolve civil battles. so end the lawsuits with about a half dozen protesters. the settlement was revealed in court documents in april, but today the city council will vote on the final settlement amounts today. let's take a live look out this morning over in san francisco. this is where transit leaders plan to raise the convenience fee for drivers who pay for parking on their phone. mta board members only recently approved a ten cent fee. now, the new plan being debated today calls for the fee to increase to $0.35 as of july 1st. according to the mta analysis, the increase would put san francisco's cost in line with other cities,ncluding oakland, new york and los angeles. all right, let's go live out across the bay area this morning. it is a nice, cool start to what is going to be a lovely day,

though. kari we know that the fire danger still exists because we did have a pretty dry spring. yeah, we did, and it was toward the end where we had a lot of dry weather, but we are waking up to at least some high humidity and the morning clouds rolling in with a live look outside in walnut creek as you're heading out. we're at 56 degrees a light wind. we are expecting a lot of sunshine once again today as our weather pattern continues to bring us these cool mornings and comfortably warm afternoons, we are going to see near normal high temperatures as well for the south bay, with san jose making it up to 81 degrees 80 in dublin and 85 in fairfield, while some of the coastal areas remain in the 60s, today we'll see mostly upper 70s and low 80s in the north bay for tomorrow. it also will be about the same up to 80 in martinez and about the same in palo alto and in gilroy. and then on thursday we're seeing more 60s near the coast 70s for the inner bay and 80s for the inland valleys.

we'll track any changes for the weekend coming up. mike, your attention is back to livermore. it is kari because i've been watching folks eastbound 580 early this morning. about four hours ago, there was a crash. a deadly crash. a number of semis involved a truck fire. and all of eastbound 580 was shut down. solid. it is open. about half the lanes are open. clearing activity still goes on for a absorbents oil spill with some absorbent. and they need another tow truck. possibly another injury is still on scene there and we're watching slower traffic coming eastbound again because of restricted traffic and more traffic heading toward the altamont pass. but out of the altamont pass. that distraction and the build are now causing a more slowing than you'd expect approaching north livermore. that's where there's also another crash on the westbound side. getting to the shoulder. watch that portion of 580. over here. contra costa county looks pretty good. and in fact, for a tuesday, this might be a little lighter volume here. still typical slow spots. now building across the richmond bridge and the bay bridge. getting into san francisco tonight. we do have a giants

as we take a live look outside in fremont for your morning commute. we are starting out with a hazy sunshine, light wind, and temperatures in the mimid 50s. as we go throughout e day, we'll see temperatures gradually warming up and kind of back to what we saw yesterday with upper 70s and the early afternoon, and then cooling down fairly quickly as we go into the evening. we'll mark mark any changes. we'll talk about it in our microclimate forecast coming up in a few minutes. and the south bay is starting to show

some slower sensors. you can see things other than green now on your northbound routes. there we go. 85 just showing a little more slowing a note a look ahead for folks traveling down 17 starting at 9 a.m. like yesterday, there will be one lane restricted as you approach the alma bridge there doing landscape work, but usually when this happens, the backup isn't as big as we saw yesterday. we're hearing 90 minute delays heading down over the summit, so be prepared. that may be the case for today through thursday as well. the white house is defending its economic record even as more data comes in showing doubts. scott mcgrew is here. consumer confidence is up. it is. it's up. good morning to you. this according to the latest read from the conference board. but it turns out american consumers are paying a lot of attention to economic news and what's going on in washington. and we're seeing a pattern. the more president trump backs off tough tariff talks, the more confident america gets about the

economy. consumer confidence rose from 85 to 98, a bigger jump than expected. now anything less than 100 is pessimistic. anything over 100 is optimistic. there are a few more numbers to worry about. the organization for economic co-operation and development has lowered its growth forecast for the united states, and the institute for supply management says factories continue to slow down their output for the third straight month. now, president trump doesn't see it that way. on this morning's social media, he posted because of tariffs, our economy is booming. the white house says new trade talks with china will come soon. or rather, it's likely. she asked about the potential call with president xi. i can confirm that the two leaders will likely talk this week. and as always, when there are foreign leader calls, we will provide a readout of those calls. so we'll see you guys later. thank you. thank you caroline. now, china has not confirmed any of that. it's worth noting president trump has said he's been on the phone with

chinese president xi in the past talking tariffs, only to have beijing say they don't know what he's talking about. the white house has made an emergency appeal to the u.s. supreme court, asking the high court for permission to go ahead with those large layoffs of federal workers. those were blocked by a lower court. this will be the administration's 18th emergency appeal to the supreme court since mr. trump took office. mypillow guy mike lindell will be in court today. a former executive at dominion voting says lindell illegally profited from promoting mypillow, mentioning promo codes as he made false claims about voting machines in the 2020 election on news programs. lindell, also facing a separate $1.3 billion from the actual company, dominion voting systems. the department of homeland security has issued a statement saying the new acting head of fema was kidding when he told fema workers he did not know there was such a thing as a hurricane season. reuters was the first to

upper 50s at 9:00, and then temperatures start to jump up a little bit more quickly for the early afternoon. we'll make it into the upper 70s here and then start to dip once again as we approach sunset. let's zoom into the south bay with a look at our highs for this afternoon. we'll be up to 84 in los gatos and 81 in san jose, as well as some low 80s for danville and 81 in concord. meanwhile, oakland will top out at 73 degrees and seeing a breezy wind and ranging from 63 in daly city to 80 in palo alto for the peninsula into san francisco, with mid to upper 60s today and upper 70 for novato, santa rosa as well as sonoma, but as hot as 91 for the far north bay and ukiah, as well as clear lake. let's check out one of our spots that's usually a bit warmer, and we're looking at some highs in the upper 80s extending into the weekend. we are expecting just a slight increase in some of the temperatures across the bay area, but we're keeping it

steady here and then looking out ten days. i still don't see any triple digits here, so hopefully this forecast holds and we continue with some near normal high temperatures even as we go through next week. here's a look at what to expect for a lot of our inland spots, like morgan hill, as well as santa rosa up to the low 80s through thursday and then mid 80s for the weekend and for san francisco. we're seeing each day, those mornings starting out in the mid 50s, some fog, and then it clear out and we'll make it into the upper 60s. mike, you've been watching a couple of problem spots on the roads. yeah, nothing major except for this. this is the one thing i'm watching unexpectedly slow. eastbound 580 because of an overnight deadly crash that had the whole freeway shut down. freeways are open again, but cleanup work is here. absorbents on the ground, clearing up some sort of diesel spill. we had an earlier fire for one of the trucks involved, and someone did lose their life as a result of all of this crash activity. again, half the freeway is open,

the activity causing a distraction for the westbound direction. that's both directions approaching isabel are slow for 580 in the south bay. just learned once again that 880. the off ramp at the alameda is blocked once again. there's still that pothole there. that will be a lane restriction and off ramp closure for the time being. back to you. thanks, mike. happening now. new numbers show san francisco police are ramping up enforcement when it comes to issuing tickets. according to police data, officers have written out 300 more citations so far this year compared to last year, and they are focused on a few key infractions. so when you are in the city, watch your speed, don't run red lights and make sure you yield to pedestrians. however, numbers are still far below numbers from a decade ago. in recent years, officers wrote about 20,000 tickets. in 2014, that number was closer to 120,000. and we're back in minutes with a look at this morning's top stories, including back open. the reason

welcome back. we are moving the bay airport with a look at our top stories here on today in the bay, including a deadly early morning chain reaction crash. this happened about 230 this morning on eastbound interstate 580 near the isabel avenue offrp in livermore. video from the scene is just so sad. it shows a big rig that caught fire. but we also know that a motorcyclist crashed and was then struck by another vehicle. the chp is not confirming whether or not that is the person who died, but as mike's

been telling us, two lanes reopened a little before five this morning. traffic still pretty slow through that area. well, a live look for you this morning over at the richmond san rafael bridge. this is where all systems go for the morning commute. following some major problems. yesterday on the upper deck started when workers noticed crumbling concrete due to wear and tear. well, a little after noon, caltrans announced the closure of all but one lane of the emergency repairs. now the closure continued into the evening commute. caltrans says that the bridge is safe, adding the bridge complies with federally mandated inspections every two years. vta frontline workers are voting on a new contract as we speak. they started voting at nearly all transit stations at 4:00 this morning. the offer comes after an historic strike halted service across santa clara county. the proposed agreement that there deciding today includes a 14% raise over four years, better dental benefits and updated workplace policies. want to give you a live look

this morning over in san francisco? this is where transit leaders plan to raise the convenience fee for drivers who pay for parking on their phone. mta board members only recently approved a ten cent fee. the new plan being debated today calls for that fee to increase to $0.35 as of july 1st. so more money cal fire today and tomorrow will conduct live fire training in south san jose's calero county park. and it follows an early season scare yesterday afternoon in fairfield, firefighters sprang into action to save homes from a fast-moving grass fire there, which started near vista grande and capitola whard. it burned about 60 acres, but it also triggered evacuation orders for dozens of residents. no homes were destroyed. all evacuation orders have now been lifted. all right, well, conditions, though, if we do have any of those fires come up, should be decent. yeah. i mean, the vegetation, the grass is extremely dry. so things could spread, but we are not seeing extreme heat. so that's the good news. and we're
