questioning two witnesses in a triple murder in richmond. officers say saturday's shooting inside an apartment at the "triangle court public housing project" was the result of a drug deal gone bad. 36-year old michael anderson, who lived in the house, is among the dead. the two other victims, are 19-year old dante deloney (duh-loon-ey) of oakland and 28-year old corey walker, junior of san leandro. today, divers from the united states navy could join the search for seven northern california fishermen that are still missing...

the divers are planning to check the boat that went down last sunday morning off the east coast of mexico's baja peninsula. the sunken fishing boat "erik" has been found in about 200 feet of water. the divers are expected to check it for signs of the missing fishermen. meanwhile, the u-s coast guard is scheduled to continue searching at least through tomorrow, and longer if asked. another step toward completion of the new bay bridge. today the chinese company manufacturing sections of the viaduct is loading the final four sections onto a ship in shanghai. the four modules weigh a combined 53 hundred tons. they will make a 22 day trip across the pacific ocean before being joined with the 24 sections already in place. the new eastern span opens in 20-13. time is 6: traffic and weather now. lawrence... the time is 6: atlantis, we could have a problem. the danger in space, putting the

of the proposed 49-ers stadium. the city usually requests outside proposals before making a decision-- but montana is expected to ask officials to only negiotiate with him. some aren't so thrilled with the suggestion. guard plans at least two more days of searching for seven missing fishermen from northern california. the men disappeared when their fishing boat capsized and sank last sunday morning off the east coast of mexico's baja peninsula. the "erik" has been located in about 220 feet of water. as early as today... u-s navy divers are expected to check the sunken ship for the missing men. meanwhile, the mexican navy and the u-s coast guard are still looking on the surface. they've already covered 46- hundred square miles of the sea of cortez. jaycee dugard discussed the moment she was kidnapped 20

years ago, in an interview with abc news' diane sawyer. "...after we were driving for a while i heard the driver say i can't believe we got away with it and then he started laughing and i blacked out again or something it was like the most horrible moment of your life times 10" dugard was 11 years old when she was abducted in front of her south lake tahoe home in 19-91. she spent 18 years in captivity in antioch and gave birth to two daughters before being found in 20- 09. phillip and nancy garrido pleaded guilty to kidnapping and raping dugard. dugard is now 31 years old. her memoir, "a stolen life," hits store shelves tomorrow. time now is _ _ _ _ . traffic and weather now. here's lawrence.

thanks. the good news couldn't last forever.. the price of gas is on its way up again in the bay area. after months of steady declines, the price has inched up to an average of 3-87 in san francisco. in oakland the average price is now 3-77. and in san jose it's averaging 3-78. analysts say the price may reach four dollars a gallon in the next few weeks. if the current iphone is out of your price range - you may soon have a new option. apple will reportedly sell a cheaper iphone this fall to compete with the growing android market. the new low end phone would work with prepaid networks. for those who are willing to pay full price - the iphone five will also be released this fall.

dogs, may be welcome again in downtown santa cruz. the city banned them in 1976, after complaints about waste and aggressive animals . now local merchants have had a change of heart..saying business has suffered. tomorrow, the city council is expected to lift the ban for a three-month trial period. if the ban is lifted, there would be some restrictions. dogs would have to wear collars showing they're vaccinated and licensed. they would also have to be kept on leashes. time now for a look at what's coming up later this morning on the early show. erica hill joins us now from new york. good morning. thanks chris. the early show starts at 7 o- clock. time is 6:xx a streak of
